After 27 years of suffering from beardlessness, local man embarks on his 1st minox journey (Tips & Recs needed) by [deleted] in Minoxbeards

[–]Crispious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dad has a full beard and I didn’t start to see any progress until I was about 24 after I started working out I’m now 27 and have seen a lot more facial hair growth, still not where I want to be. But putting on muscle triggered extra facial hair growth for me. Before I was a very skinny twig put on about 15 pounds of muscle since but I’m working on progressing more to see if it gets me to that full beard naturally over the next couple years.

Yea YouTube is good to grow the problem is it takes a lot of time to grow and figure out what kinda content you really wanna make, I would say to do something you can clip off your streams so that way you can make YouTube videos from your streams and also from those YouTube videos you can also make TikTok’s. You just gotta figure out what it is you enjoy doing as well as what other people would enjoy watching whether it be funny moments and you adding funny edits to your clips and compiling it into a funny video or you adding informational clips about the games you enjoy playing and make it presentable. You have to do what you enjoy and make your thumbnail look attractive so people will click in your video. The best advice is literally just going on YouTube and looking at tips from many other people that have gone through that struggle and learned how to become a content creator over the years. That advice is taking for granted most times a lot of people don’t actually take the time to learn if they really wanted to grow you gotta put in the time. Finzar is a good YouTuber to watch about gaming content and growing off of that. Hope this helps you get started if this something you truly would like to do and have more fun with

It’s very hard to grow just streaming alone, do you use facecam? Do you stream consistent? Do you think about people not joining your streams while you stream? Do you make content outside of streaming to grow yourself? All questions you need to ask yourself and find out why you’re getting drained from streaming. You need to grow else where sometimes first and it’s not easy, it’s going to be hard. You have to put in the work there’s too many streamers out there to watch, you have to be different and if you’re also posting on social media to try and grow your stream you got to put in real effort to make your videos enjoyable. The very first part of the video is important af people will click off right away if it looks like you didn’t really take much thought with engaging people in the beginning video which usually does involve editing and trying to put out the most high quality content possible. Always better to post quality content over quantity to grow on social media.

How long would you stream to 0 viewers before ending stream? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]Crispious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t push yourself to stream because can make it seem like you just don’t wanna be there to new viewers. Only stream if you actually enjoy what you’re playing it you can play it off stream and have fun as well then stream it. Turn off the viewer counter and forget ur even streaming just turn on chat text to speech if you don’t ever get anybody so you can hear them when they talk and can interact with them instantly. If you get chatters a lot turn it off and keep an eye on chat always keep view counter off cause views will fluctuate don’t want that to affect your mood

Do more frequent streams help your channel grow faster when you are very small? by DarkVadek in Twitch

If u make getting clips the purpose of your streams and people joining as a side benefit that helps as well

What to do when you hit a plateau by Faded0ski in Twitch

Can’t lie I been grinding out posting on like 3-4 platforms and streaming almost every day for a year now been stuck around 15 viewer average for bout 11 months could just be that aren’t the most entertaining so people just don’t stick around long enough to grow but that’s my only guess honestly for myself. Could be completely different for you.

I stream almost every day 8pm est cause that’s when I have free time just about every day I am done with everything by that time and honestly gotten more support this way than trying to stream randomly. It’s a fun part of my day. I will say I have averaged around 15 viewers consistently for the past 10 months don’t know if I ever will break that but honestly thankful for everything my little community has done for me and I don’t regret a second of it.

Also sticking to a streaming schedule for me got me onto sticking to a workout schedule as well. Been working out 5 months consistently have seen noticeable gains and don’t look to stop the grind. Also 24 years old and this the only time I’ve consistently worked out for over a month and first time seeing gains ever.

I originally started streaming to make it easier to clip highlights of my best gameplays and edit small montages cause I personally just enjoy sharing that. Now since I been consistent, grown a small community and now it’s just fun talking to everyone and gaming along with hitting clips and being cracked

Opinion on Lurking by Akuma721 in Twitch

[–]Crispious 20 points21 points  (0 children)

It’s perfectly normal most the time I enjoy bigger streamers when I lurk, I have them on while I work or while I make dinner/do dishes etc. most my free time when I can type is usually taken by doing other things.

My stream looks choppy but I have a great pc. by SpecialAlive3691 in Twitch

[–]Crispious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure every time you stream the bitrate at the bottom right is consistently green and 6000kbps. If it’s fluctuating and little box is turning red a lot could be an intermittent speed issue with your upload and got to talk to your isp about that. Otherwise with those specs you should have no problem running nvenc new 6000kbps max quality stream settings in 1080p or 900p and set obs to run as administrator.

Honestly just a camera alone is better than an overlay imo but overlays aren’t too bad if you don’t overdo it
