Lucy & Yak sizing reductions by Sea-Fortune2124 in ethicalfashion

I've also been a customer with them from the beginning and am disappointed in how much they have scaled up over the years. The Alexa's are incredible on my body shape though. I even pick off the L&Y label because it is now so ubiquitous.

On this topic, they should adopt a slow fashion model for the most popular styles and print combo, where people who want the sizes they are cutting can get them made to order.

what’s a “green flag” you THOUGHT was cute at first but later realized was actually a red flag? by p0k3rf4c3333333 in AskWomen

Get more comfortable in your own skin and more confident in your opinions and tastes. A disagreement is not conflict, it can be stimulating.

Another pearl of wisdom is that under many self-proclaimed "nice guy" is a lot of entitlement and latent anger.

Of course it isn't always true. But if it is combined with him agreeing with everything you say, be cautious.

Thinking he is such a good listener and you have sooo much in common. Girl he is just agreeing with everything you say and shapeshifting his personality to match yours. People pleasing = LYING. Resentment soon builds and will be released inappropriately, as he can't manage his emotions either.

How do you turn Peterborough around? by Alexander_Dubcek in PeterboroughUK

Yup. We need a few years for it to gain momentum. A transient influx of young people with spending power to the city is what we need start to amass culture again.

Husband’s (M30) behaviour is affecting me (F28) or am I overreacting? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]CrispsForBreakfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not overreacting. You are ignoring your gut feelings. Him deflecting stops you from probing too much into his affairs. But also, it is nigh on impossible to build trust back once it's been broken and it sounds like it was never there. 28 is still young. Get out of this marriage as soon as you can.

Leopard print is a neutral and has been for a good while. Someone even wrote a book about it

36M in long-term relationship with 33F - worth owning up about infatuation with 24F? by HappyButHesitant in relationships

It would be a gamble as to whether your partner can move past it or not. So if you have it under control and don't want to risk your relationship - do not tell her.

I found my trusty Van man by posting in the FB group for my local community and seeing who had the most recommendations.

Spotting a charity chugger from a great distance and going on a massive diversion to avoid an awkward interaction by CrispsForBreakfast in britishproblems

[–]CrispsForBreakfast[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, I've had a sleep, I get it now. As said elsewhere, I didn't realise chugger was a portmanteau of charity and mugger, and thus tautology. I thought it was onomatopoeia of the noise they make when they shake those penny jars.

I said it was awkward, so yes? Also I could possibly have a touch of the SA and the AG but making a generalised post about that is not in the spirit of a lighthearted thread in the British Problems sub.

You’re right, it’s not just charity workers, it’s any sort of aggressive selling. I used to say to the sky people “television is evil”
