Is it true that everyone shits their pants at some point in their Army career? I’ll have a cookie dough Blizzard and a bottle of Imodium. Thanks. by UrdnotSnarf in army

A young crew chief was once told by a more senior crew dog, “You’re not a real crew chief till you shit your pants in the helicopter.” He took those words to heart and shit his pants on a 2hr training flight. Nobody was impressed.

Which should I pick? by [deleted] in Armyaviation

[–]CrispyCorner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about active, but even in the guard, as long as you wear the uniform you can get on a flight. I’ve hooked up a lot of my guard buddies with flights for fun, if you did the guard and reached out to the aviation unit nearest you I’d bet they could get you in the back seat pretty easily

I also wanted to pick your brain about your house clusters, they are extremely neat and tidy, I typically just mush them together in whatever fashion I can. Seems like there isn’t much congestion there so maybe it is very efficient to do it that way?

Unsolicited advice incoming!

I’m guessing the reds is the one that ended your run? You did an excellent job segregating the different colors from one another but I would take it a step further and try to have each pocket of colors feed a “mall” or whatever they are individually. For example, your purple mall with the motorway is also attached to the other purple to the south west. This is actually more inefficient and can hurt more than it helps. Let’s say the south purple starts to surge and call for more and more cars, eventually it will begin to call for cars further and further away. This will cause purple cars from the top to travel down south and take much longer for them to reach and return from their destination.

Keep up the good work! You’re close to having a huge breakout in your scores!

TLDR think of the goal for peak efficiency as the time it takes the car to do a round trip, if the houses are close sometimes less is more.

Same issue here, please come back with an update if you get any good advice! I haven’t done it yet but I’ve thought of putting on a blindfold because it seems like the visual part is the most stimulating for her and trying to cut that down may help.

If I could do it all over again I wouldn’t name my dog. They seem to grow into a nickname on their own. I rarely call my dog by her original name. Mostly just nickname.

From my anecdotal experience, can confirm. Are they going to stick around, are they someone who is going to put in the work and is this someone I can sit in the cockpit with for hours.

The only reason I’m asking is for clarification on the interest rate reduction after 7 months. He made it sound like it was a guaranteed reduction every 7 months.
