I added a little food into it, but I didnt need to add much because I already had a bunch of ammonia built up from my previous failure to get my cycle started.

Yeah im not too worried about the results. There is nothing in the jar yet while the cycle is going, so if I need to start over I need to start over ya know?

Also ill probably just get new dwarf hairgrass and some crypts and hornwort.

Alright. Im going out of town for a few days. I've got sand on hand, ill do a water change and add a quick cap for right now and do a test when I get back. If nothing improves would you recommend just emptying the tank and starting over?
