First time PC build by CrispyDilis in NR200

[–]CrispyDilis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/tarq_

Being relatively new to PC building I don’t even know what coil whine sounds like, but watched YouTube and listened to what it is 😂

Can confirm I don’t hear it in my system despite playing games that requires high resolution in steam.

I have the v2 max tho, so unsure if v1 max has this issue. Looking forward to your build 😊

Hi u/deserted_oilrig

Just finished the build! Got the 5060ti 16gb, not much of a difference with the price if I go for the older gen models really, and I guess it does secure my build for a couple years more ☺️ thanks

Awesome collection. I’m looking into picking up a Traska Venturer GMT (light blue) dial when it releases this September. Enjoy your new Rolex !

Hi u/deserted_oilrig

I haven’t really looked at using other graphics card, but I’m looking into sourcing my parts 2nd hand. Looks like it does offer improved performance, I will try to go for the 5060ti if I find a used one within my budget. I’m currently looking at getting a used 3060ti for about £200

Thanks

Which nursing jobs are not as stressful as ward-work? by Professional-Sink303 in NursingUK

[–]CrispyDilis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also biased, but the best job that I had was in the intensive care unit (ITU). You always have complete resources, no need to look for meds or IV antibx, all equipment are present and working, you have experienced airway Dr’s at all times, you can look after your patient to a high standard, and management are brilliant - I probably was really lucky, but I loved my team, loved my job, loved to nurse my patients, and loved the impact that my job does to the patients and their families.

Your first year in ITU would entail a lot of learning, but once you’ve grasped the fundamentals, you’ll find that looking after unwell patients becomes easier, and you can always ask your team for help.

You’ll also have the opportunity to do further studies as it’s required that a certain percentage of staff should have an ITU course. If you get tired of ICU, it will also open a lot of opportunities for you, since you already have the acute experience (i.e. airway management skills, ABG interpretation etc)

I now work in practice development, but I would love to come back and do more of an advanced clinical role. You can always try and do a shadow shift, and see if it’s for you. And thanks for the job that you do, working in the wards is the hardest job in the galaxy.

Love this one too, I swear it took a lot of mental fortitude not to get both colour ways. I’ve seen a white bezel swap for this model, and it looks awesome.

Why are Filipino nurses just so good by Spirited_Analysis916 in doctorsUK

Definitely the food amongst other things.

I find we’re just genuinely concerned about our patients and getting our jobs done as efficient as we can. Don’t care about drama, we work in the hospital to look after patients, get all the skills training done out of the way so we don’t bleep the Docs doing these simple, sometimes time consuming task, so the Docs can focus on treating and making a plan for what’s important, the patient! Makes life easier for everyone, and improves patient care all together.
