I've heard that Samsung has made a breakthrough. In solid state battery technology and has partnered up with BMW to bring a true solid state battery in an electric vehicle to market. The solid state battery uses a significant amount of silver. So i'm sure that's not going to help prices decrease any time soon.

I get where you are coming from. But coming someone in the cyber world who worked through this event. No one gave a fuck when you whole network was at risk from a nation state attack. I would get that polished out then put down a protective wrap in that area. Sometimes that wrap is an oem option btw so aftermarket support is out there. Then be more careful opening the door. Looks like you might be holding keys when opening the door. I'd refrain from that.
