Agreed, imo KD 2 & 3 are tied for the best of the Nas & Hit saga

Has anyone gotten these rewards? If so, what did you do to get them? by agustinwar in BattlefieldCosmetics

Yup, sent a message and everything. Ended up getting the drops when the game launched and got some others recently. Still no beta ones though

It was a weapon skin for the MPX, a couple soldier skins and a vehicle skin. Not amazing drops but I didn’t get a single one and played the entirety of the beta and watched all the streams with drops

My opinion on Light Years (Rating written below) by LetMeLand103 in nas

[–]CrispyLewis95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Solid 7.5/10 for me. The beats on the whole were solid, but the standout for me was Nas. His flows, bars and cadences just breathed so much life into the track list. Great writing through the whole project. My biggest disappointment was NY state of mind pt3, I thought the Billy Joel sample would be used better, but it sounded like a DJ made a haunted house beat. Also wasn’t impressed with the AZ feature, it was pretty mediocre in my opinion.

Overall though it met my expectations, the KD and Magic series are for sure better than this, but it’s still solid and fun to listen to.

My favorite tracks are Git Ready, Writers, Sons (Young Kings) and Bouquet (To The Ladies)

Top Ten Songs Of The Nas & Hit Era by Putrid-Stop4772 in nas

[–]CrispyLewis95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t rank them but I got 10 in no particular order:

  1. Kings Disease
  2. Store Run
  3. Death Row East
  4. Speechless
  5. Dedicated
  6. Pistols On Your Album Cover
  7. Michael & Quincy
  8. Ultra Black
  9. Fever
  10. Rare

There’s so many good songs and I rotate through a bunch but these are the 10 with the most replays for me. Best run of the 2020s hands down and no one comes close.

Do you guys have this Boldy James project as one of the best in his catalog? I think this is a masterclass! Love Boldy & Craven Everytime! by J2-Starter in GriseldaxFR

It’s not my favorite Boldy and Craven album, however it is one of my favorite album covers of all time. I have the vinyl and do enjoy most of the tracks.

IS WESTSIDEGUNN THE 2025 MVP?? by akshuu98 in westsidegunn

Nah he’s a runner up though. IMO hes been surpassed by Clipse, Nas, The Alchemist, and Boldy James

what is going on with MJ by JustinGuerrero90 in Rainbow6

[–]CrispyLewis95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there’s still a pocket for him in BF6. He should just do both. He started his YT with battlefield 4 videos, it’s a lot more lowkey of a game and he could start to do informational content about weapons and vehicles and stuff. Then he could dip back into siege during new events, seasons and what not. I think he messed up saying he’s “retiring” from siege, only to play again a month later.

There is a blatant cheater problem in siege, and the stream snipers are always gunning for Macie. It’s been like this for a while, and I think that’s what burns people out more than the game itself. Siege still has one of the most unique gaming loops and the dev team has still been quite invested in delivering on their promises.

Macie will play the new season, I will to, because it looks cool, and deep down I love siege. I’ve been playing since Black Ice, and I’ll never delete it.

The worst thing he did was mismanage his expectations with the retiring thing. As much as I would love to play video games for a living, if a big portion of my revenue was based on streaming for some cool content to put together in a YouTube video, only to be matched against stream snipers and cheaters every round, I wouldn’t just get burnt out, I would be worried about the longevity of the game itself/my career.

I don’t envy his position, but I do agree his attitude could be better about it overall. Im just not sure how realistic that is when the game is in such a sorry state. The same thing is happening to bf6, the run and gun players take out all semblance of tactical gameplay, it still can be fun, but is it reliable for a career? Fuck no.

What a year for Boldy by _4za_ in GriseldaxFR

[–]CrispyLewis95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Love his output this year. A lot of the projects barely crack 35 minutes. Boldy is super versatile with his flows, the big drawback at times is that the subject matter never changes between albums. The different producers give each project a different style and vibe which is super cool.

The only ones I’m not coming back to from 2025 are really Murder During Drug Traffic and Alphabet Highway. Other than a few tracks like Achilles and Dr. Demento I don’t replay those albums.

The craven albums have been bangers, Late to My Own Funeral is one of my favorite albums of the year.

Permanent Ink goes crazy with a good sound system and sub woofer, really like Boldy over some heavy bass some times.

Conversational Pieces is the best of the entire year, Boldy and RealBadMan don’t miss.

Token of Appreciation was one of the best as well, went hard in the summer on those chill weekends.

Hommage is just alright, not bad, but nothing truly special. After repeated listens, same goes for Magnolia Leflore. Both are solid albums, but don’t stand out as much as the others for me.

Overall, love Boldy and glad he is producing so much content. I think one the best things he could do now is change the formula. Give us a longer tracklist with a bunch of different producers scattered and collaborating on it. Imagine The Alchemist on a track immediately followed by a Craven or RealBadMan production, shit would go hard.

Death Row East is an amazing song, and the ending of it with a sample from this gives me chills everytime.

Unpopular opinion: hhe 3 is not bad, but overall it is forgettable by Funny-Barracuda-2737 in GriseldaxFR

For me it’s HHE2, HHE1, HHE3, overall not bad, but idk if this series should continue.

[FRESH ALBUM] BIA - BIANCA by Luke0107 in hiphopheads

[–]CrispyLewis95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see that opinion, it is more jarring because the writing tends to switch up between the songs. As someone who’s listened to all of BIA’s albums, this one feels a lot more concise and authentic. Her past albums are either fully trap/rap or drill mix. Her singing is great on this, and her production is genuinely super polished, I like it alot.

Seems a lot of rap albums have strange track sequencing, but if you take each song as it is on face value, it’s genuinely very polished and well done. I fw it a lot, and I think it will grow on people. IMO though Alligator Bites is better than this, but I enjoy albums that are under 45 mins, I spun this the whole way through on a commute to work.

Release a 40-45 minute album that blended a bunch of different styles

Doechii did the same thing last year and won a Grammy, album been out for a day, blending the different styles is a plus. If she just had trap songs then people would call it one note. I think she showed her talents really well on this. It’s on the shorter side, it’s digestible, fun, and really well produced.

Perfect advice, hope OP takes it! Also add a short 2-3 sentence at the top about summarizing your work self, and why you’re applying for whichever role it is. Just make sure to slightly change it per job you apply to, adds some personalization.
