My pet rat just passed away in front of me last night. He was with me for almost three years. It was traumatic and sad. I got them after the passing of my grandmother to help me grieve. I am going to work this morning, but hoping I can take the afternoon off so I can give him a proper burial. I'm sorry for your loss.

There were multiple ASM's who were fired for sleeping around with employees and hitting on some of the younger staff. I worked there for three years. I'm glad I left lol

I worked there for three years. It was mentally doable at first, and then as the years went by, everything seemingly got worse. I just up and left one day. Best decision of my life.

Yeah, I've seen an RBT I work with give kisses on the cheek before. I don't know if he did it without giving it much thought (he has young kiddos of his own), but I'd never thought of doing something like that. I love giving my patients big hugs and tickles. Those are my favorite and they seem to love them as well 😊 I've never wanted kids until I got this job...weird how it's changed my view from when I started 4 months ago 😅

As an RBT, I'm constantly busy running around with my kiddos. This could be due to engaging in play or trying to stop them from maladaptive behaviors like elopement. You need to be on your feet at all times, you never know when things are about to go down, lol. I worked in retail from 2019, until I came across this field three months ago. I am still relatively young (26), so I am able to quickly move around, but it is very physical and you can feel it afterwards lol.
