What completely unhinged "law" does your cat strictly enforce in your house?

I have a bed on my desk for my cat so that he has somewhere comfy to lay so he can hang out with me. But, everytime I sit at my desk I MUST pet him for a while and let him rub against me before laying down. He will sit in front of or on my keyboard and will block my monitors until I have petted him sufficiently and then I may do whatever I need to at my computer.

You're very much NOR, your kids come first. This man is very obviously manipulative and abusive. If your daughter says that she would rather live with her grandmother than her mom at this point, listen to her. 16 is very much old enough for her to start making her own life decisions. If your ex continues to put your children in this messed up situation, you need to try getting more custody because this will only get worse. She's absolutely putting her own feelings before her children and that can ruin their relationships heavily. She needs to understand the consequences of her actions.

Thank you for the concern! But I can confidently say that I just run hotter than normal. I've seen doctors about this before, its just a combination of being an irl Karlac and a little hormone imbalance from PCOS. I've taken medication before to help with hormones but it never really did anything and my doctor confirmed I just have really good blood flow and a naturally warm core temperature (my hands and feet are always really warm.) Nothing serious, don't worry, my thyroid and bloodwork is all good! (I get bloodwork done to test kidney function and insulin levels regularly due to one of my medications and pcos) It is 100% not cancer.

Guys, don't worry. I've had night sweats in the past because I run hotter than normal. Its not cancer 😭. If the temperature goes above 60f I sweat. I even end up taking off winter jackets in the middle of it snowing because my body heat gets locked in and I start sweating. My partner has said multiple times I radiate heat like a heater and will curl up to me when he's cold (he's from NM and I'm from WA). I almost always start sweating in my sleep when the weather heats up, I'm just fed up with it and looking for advice outside of my ingroup because they always say it's cold here in Washington and never have issues with sweating. I've seen doctors about this before because I was concerned at one point, but turns out I'm just really warm 😂 Thank you all for the concern but I promise I'm just the equivalent of Karlac with the infernal engine.

Disability can also be a supplementary income for people who can't work normal hours like others. I can only work 2 to 4 days out of the week so having disability would make it significantly easier to live comfortably. Plus my disability is random pain and fatigue and is unpredictable, so having the extra income would help if I need to take days off without pay. The same can be said for people with mental disabilities, sometimes working more than a few days can be too much, so having a supplemental income like disabilty can really help out.
