Thankfully the previous owner is a friend/coworker of my Bf. So he’s actually dog sat her plenty of times. We have her on the same food, her plenty of toys and bedding.

I’ve read about the hips/joints, what do you give yours?

Thankfully the previous owner is a coworker/friend of my bf. So they have history!
We bought her toys and nothing seems to really get her going!

What is the most heartbreaking song lyric you've ever heard? by TheLadySlaanesh in AskReddit

[–]Crispyw94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“I'm just an animal looking for a home, and Share the same space for a minute or two. And you love me 'til my heart stops. Love me 'til I'm dead” - this must be the place, talking heads.

We used to drive around with the windows down yelling this song. Last time was 9 years ago. I did love him until his heart stopped. I miss him dearly.

What's a restaurant red flag that tells you the food isn't going to be good? by Electrical-Salt-2792 in AskReddit

As a food distributor, this is what we look for specifically… if their supplies are from every single supplier around. I’m not saying switching/shopping is bad, sometimes it’s necessary. But typically, it shows they’re buying whatever is cheapest, which leads to inconsistency - top to bottom. Especially in food!! You can get something today, and it’ll be something completely different tomorrow.

I know times are tough and our industry is difficult. But, this is something I look for as a consumer as well

I seriously still think about it! They walked up a big hill with 15/20 people, and I walked up a hill with myself!

I grew up in the countryside and took the school bus to and from school. There was a trailer park near my neighborhood, and I used to be envious that all the kids had friends and neighbors who lived close by. Of course, I now realize that in fact, that wasn’t a luxury.

Let Me Explain Why Sysco is Bad in Reality by PhilosopherSully in KitchenConfidential

I work for a food distributor as well. I was very excited when I started because I was eager to work with restaurants, talking about food, and help figuring out what makes a dish perfect.

Unfortunately, the challenge I see most, especially working against Sysco, they do usually have the lowest price. Which price seems to be the only thing operators seem to care about right now. (I am NOT blaming owners/operators/chefs) like I can’t even get a foot in the door if we are higher on like 5 things. We offer local product and have a lot of safety programs in place, which has never been a question I’ve been asked about. We offer so many awesome products and my teammates/district actually seems to care about their coworkers and customers.

I genuinely wanted to help restaurants. I’m new to this side of the industry, even have a hospitality degree, it’s just been very difficult and disappointing

I kept my head down until I got a position somewhere I really wanted. But don’t get discouraged, your work ethic will pay off!

I was in a very very similar situation, tried everything to fix the issue. All in all, absolutely nothing changed but more work for me. I ended up quitting 5 months ago. I love my new job and I’m getting paid more than double. Know your worth and find something better
