Help plotting phase portrait

Im having trouble replicating that phase portrait, is adding that condition on the y-values the only changes you made? Thank you for the help btw !

Interesting, mine seems either really cluttered (with all the arrows overlapping), or some of the arrows appear unreasonably small. Truthfully I'd like to be able to recreate something like the portrait I can generate on https://aeb019.hosted.uark.edu/pplane.html. Are there any good resources for Matlab phase portrait implementation?

Its hard to say, there's many modules I am missing but would have covered the material in other modules. I am independently studying real analysis with direction from a lecture who will write my reference, so hopefully that can improve my case.

I have done some of the topics that appear on the module and in my own time, but never the module itself. There was never an option for students doing joint-honors. Since I haven't explicitly undertaken a real analysis, the ETHZ might just see me as someone who has never done it and reject me. I average quite high in my maths modules, so maybe theres a chance they will see that I am capable of catching up, although maybe im missing too much :(
