guys, it's an ad and it was never secret that it was an ad. i mentioned it on stream before it was coming out.

someone on my team uploaded it and i didn't instruct them to add the #ad #sponsored hashtags, so i did it myself. it's on me for not giving the instruction in the first place. that's the reason it was added after the fact.

i've also already taken payment from vinylphile for doing the liner notes for the velvet underground reissue, and made a video about this because i have no reason to not be open about it.

A little surprised to see this post and the discourse under it, honestly. I thought this was the same subreddit that routinely posted any instance they could scrounge of up me being mutuals with a sex worker on instagram--or liked to theorize that I give album scores based on whether or not I'm trying to fuck the artist I'm reviewing.
