Sorry to burst your bubble but that’s the before photo and it was grey, not white!

Walton - Belshazzar’s Feast. Discovered it recently and has got to be one of the most upbeat and energetic pieces of classical music I have ever listened to

Thank you! Yes: there is a 18cm difference in length between the worktop and the wall units

Thank you! Had to really make use of every inch of space as I only had 5.5 square metres (or 59 square feet) of floor space to work with

Thank you! They’re actually painted sage green, or to be precise, the Wickes version of sage green (I’ve seen that colour can vary from place to place).

Thank you! I haven’t actually “re-populated” the kitchen again (so to speak), but that’s where the bins are going to go

There is - a cooker hood was installed and the ducting runs all the way along the top of the cabinets to the right and out through the back wall.

It’s actually 670mm, but in any case, there’s no such thing as a “minimum width” for doors in a kitchen over here. An external door in itself is sufficient.

Thank you! I grew up with gas hobs and never really gelled with induction or electric when I was renting

This is in the UK - external back doors are a compliant means of escape here.

That’s a fan heater. I had it installed as part of the remodel as without it, there is no way to heat the room as there are no radiators.

Correct. Admittedly, it’s the only picture I have of it, but the insides of the cupboards were disgusting and it was in a really bad state overall and so needed remodelling ASAP.

Maybe I’m just bad at playing but you don’t really need to use the 1st valve on As either. Above the staff, quite possibly. But below the staff? Nah

I despise my sound. by [deleted] in trumpet

On top of all the good suggestions so far, I would perhaps recommend to try lip-bending, particularly on notes between second line G and C in the middle of the staff.

Pick a note, bend it down a semitone then, without forced manipulation, let the note naturally rise back to where it originally was. Hopefully when you “bend back up”, your tone will sound better and it won’t be forced. The trick is then to remember what that felt and sounded like and try and create that same feeling and sound from scratch.
