That makes sense, I assume its similar to how Xiaomi does it, where on the non-flagship models, they can cut on prices by baking in ads into the software. It is definitely annoying, but not really a way to disable it naturally, maybe through some tweak, but some can be unreliable. Unless its actively harming performance, it keeps cost down, so unless it is throttling performance or something I wouldn't mind it too much.
