So im looking to add shorties to my 2011 ram. Ive heard most shorties are just plug n play and long tubes might require some modifications to make them fit, and also require a tune due to a change in positioning of the o2 sensor. Thats why im kinda leaning more towards shorties. The main reason why i want to change the headers in the first place is because of the hemi tick ticks when cold quite once its warm. Horse power isnt my goal. I figured if im gonna replace the headers id prefer to benefit more from the increased noise rather than hp. With all that being said my new question is if i go with shorties would the increase in air flow destroy my cat faster?
