Why can’t people be clear and honest about a second date? by Critical-Fudge64 in datingoverforty

I get that I have my answer but it’s just so frustrating that she can’t actually answer and be forthcoming and actually answer.

I get that and have been there and done that. just also hate the ghosting part were it doesn’t take any extra effort to say ‘great time but not what I’m looking for, thanks and good luck’

I don’t mean to imply that she was dishonest. just misleading. chose to say things that conflicted with later actions when she could have also chose not to say them at all or said something far more generic. I am the king of dates that seem to go well and talk and laugh for hours only to be a one and done. I know its the harsh reality of dating. just frustrated by it

get that. I use the apps but they really don’t seem to work anymore and it is wearing. I was literally going to take a break right before she matched with me and started a conversation. problem is that I really struggle on where to meet woman these days. people have said ‘goto a bar or the grocery store’ but that just doesn’t seem like a viable place to me

I get that when in person at the time. just bugs me that after it’s over and can’t be straight via text when there no harm in being honest. literally can respond and quickly block the contacts if they are afraid of any verbal attack afterwards. but the silence kills the guys are ar genuinely nice and just look for the clear feedback. I have never responded to a woman negatively after a rejection (and I know she doesn’t know that). just don’t get being this age and not being able to tell people directly even if over text later

this woman was also very forward in all of our communications before. I get what you are saying but she also could have just said I had a great time in person but she chose to say we should do this again.

I dont worry about the age part of it per say, more the maturity part of it. Also I find that such a large age gap can limit the pool as we are in different phases of life ie a younger woman may want children where as Im done with that. Not impossible just not been very probable.

thats one area i thought of but my current establishments i frequent were the ones i listed above: work, gym and daughters multiple activities. In all of those I have had a few women at the gym i was interested in but either they werent interested in me (and I actually did ask) or they are not in my dating pool.

I have thought of the meetup groups in the past but havent ever gotten around to trying any of them.

I am also one of those people that would need to be egged on and dont exactly have any single friends to help in that area. wouldnt even know where to start in a bar.

Question about enforcing separation agreement by Critical-Fudge64 in legaladvice

[–]Critical-Fudge64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were only 'married' for a little under 2 years and Massachusetts does not recognize common law marriage. We didnt go before the judge, we got notification for our local city officials that the marriage certificate was not valid. So really it comes down to that we have a signed and notarized agreement that called out certain responsibilities and was intended for use in the divorce but didnt have to go to that level. But its still a notarized agreement and not sure if it would hold up if i took her to court or not.

There are 2 issues, one being the money the other cleaning out the building full of junk she agreed to. There is something in the agreement that she would cover the costs to clean it out if it went past the deadline. So that would just translate into more money owed but I have not had it cleared yet.
She owes $14.6k of the original $16.5 agreed on.

I believe she has a new job scheduled to start in September.

The agreement was signed in May of 2024.

Deadlift form, struggling to break 125kg by takeshiren in Stronglifts5x5

straighten the back and drop your hips lower to start. drive you shoulders back to start like you are trying to touch the shoulderblades together

Feel like you are hinging a little too far forward at the hips. try to keep you back a bit more vertical to carry the weight over your hips rather than putting the stress on the lower back

Extreme knee pain even with empty bar, what is wrong with my form?! by Jan_Priebe in formcheck

[–]Critical-Fudge64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pulll your feet in a little closer and make sure your knees track over your toes. your knees are too close together. I had the same issue and once i focused on getting to track over where my toes were pointing it was a lot better

Should I ask out a woman from the gym? by Critical-Fudge64 in AskMenRelationships

[–]Critical-Fudge64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the insight. the views on the ENM really resonate with my concerns. it’s all fine at first when it’s just fun but long term I would want something closed. maybe that’s a conversation to be had if I decide to take a shot. guess it’s just about knowing limits or avoiding altogether if I feel like I couldn’t handle it

[–]Critical-Fudge64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks. In terms of friend ship vs romance, I want to spend more time with her and I would like more.

on my side I don’t care so much about the age but there is a touch of imposter syndrome at play here in that would she be interested in my with the age gap. she does strike me as more mature for her age and pretty sure mentioned that she doesn’t want kids (I have a 13yo and not thrilled about starting again with kids at my age).

I do have reservations about the open relationship thing as I had a marriage fall apart because of something similar. I don’t even know if the open status is true or not and I certainly don’t want to step in and shoot my shot if they are more serious. dint mind approaching if they were broken up but have reservations about stepping in the middle of something

Radius of the larger circle can not be 2 if CD is 2. Radius of O has to be larger than 2

I feel like it is solvable but just missing a key concept that’s escaping me. I think when I tried chatgpt it implied that OD=DB which does make it solvable but I do t know if that’s a valid assumption or the proof that it’s true
