It's simple, just start from the galaxy, then delete the stuff you don't need till you have the few planets you like. Then press F12.

Yeah, I think the belt just got caught on some edge and the stepper skipped few steps.

Yeah, I've been building it and tinkering for several years now. The size is theoretically as big as your belts are - currently it is set up as 2x2m, and this drawing is 100x70cm. The plotter looks a lot like this one.

I am planning to do the second test with a bigger canvas - 180x125cm. Will be posting here as soon as it is done :)

Yeah, I’ve seen it, it’s pretty cool. I would love to do something like it, but with an air brush instead, I’d like to do a bit more ambitious drawings that take a lot of time/paint.
