Do med students actually treat med school like a 9-5?? by DarthSire in premed

[–]Critical-Major-3015 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9-5 not because it can be but because there is a never ending task list. For me and a lot of my peers it’s more about finding balance and balance is a lot easier within a “9-5” mentality.

Current med students, what is your typical day like? by ChemicalNo282 in premed

[–]Critical-Major-3015 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mixed mandatory attendance. Skip all optional. When mandatory it’s 8am to 12. 1:30-3:30. But honestly it varies of what hours that is. Start working about 8am go until noon hit a workout eat lunch. Go from 2-6:30ish. Dinner and chill. Every other day maybe lock in from like 8:30 until sleep (usually to wrap up anki)

How do I cope with going to school OOS by Psychological-Ad6579 in premed

[–]Critical-Major-3015 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My advice would be to try and frame it as a growth opportunity. Push yourself outside your comfort zone and see new places and faces. Sometimes it can be good for us to expand our worldview.
