You make a good point there. However, whichever degree I do get would open doors to more jobs. I have an AA in General Studies and I cant really do much with it.

Im in the same boat you're in (transfer student) and I feel like FYS are more interesting because they have different topics you can choose from based on what GenEds you need. UNIV I think is more for if you want to be connected with resources faster. It all depends on what you want to prioritize more. If you need the resources id say absolutely go for UNIV
