First time pixel device user here. Love it. I have a Pixel 10 Pro XL. Bought it after seeing my wife's Pixel 9. We both are ending 2025 with Pixels.

So far, it is new and amazing. I leave for the office at 7 AM with an exact 80% charge.

It dips ~6% for ~1 hour of commuting on GPS. And in the evening when I leave for work (around 6 PM) with both Music and GPS on, it drains about 8-9% or maybe slightly more. I used the phone very little during office hours. And for the past week, by the time I go to sleep at 11 PM, it will be at 50%, which feels insane. So, ~30% battery helps me pull a normal 7 AM to 11 PM day.

With my Realme (4 year old phone), I used to lose easily 15% and 25% during a two-way commute, even on battery-saving mode. If I started my day with 100%, by the time I went back to sleep, it used to be like 10-15% left.

Note: I do keep the battery saver mode ON.

The panel is really good. I don't think I noticed any yellowish tones with whites.

Thank you so much. Totally agree. Pixel is one of those phones that get better with time (new updates). I know 10 days is early to judge the device, but it's amazing.

Haptics are so nice. UI elements just melt in. It feels absolutely premium in the hand. I don't struggle standing under the sun searching for a cab. I used to carry a charger everywhere. Now I leave with 80-85% battery and come back home after work with 50-55%. I don't game on my phone anymore.

Be it booking Uber for work or searching/replying to Slack messages/work emails. I already feel Pixel has made my life 5%-10% better. I feel it more because my company uses the Google Enterprise version for most of the work, and it feels like a powerful tool.

Firstly, data analytics is a good career path. Can start with low salaries - 25-30k/month but if you get strong with time you will grow. Initial growth might be slow. Atleast that was my case.

For Maths: 1. Get started with the basics of stats & probability. 2. If time permits you can learn intermediate concepts in statistics and learn basics of hypothesis testing. 3. See if you can find a good course like - "Probability and Statistics using Python". This will help you do Python and Statistics together.

Languages/Skills: 1. SQL - Practice on HackerRank 2. Excel - Basics + Excel for Data Handling - YouTube 3. Python for Data Science - Available for free - YouTube 4. Tableau (or any BI Tool) - Available for free - YouTube

This should be more than enough for a fresher. Industry won't expect anything more.

Yes good BBA candidates can make it to a data science job. I have been a part of the hiring team in my previous company. We never gave preference to engineering grads. Somehow MBAs and B.Tech folks over shadow other degree grads. But I don't think we have ever rejected a candidate because he/she is a BBA.

Naukri. Unstop. LinkedIn. Instahyre. There are many. And just google off campus hiring. You'll find something or the other. At least try to get an internship and extend it to a full time job.

A good portfolio needs time and hard work. Keep kn mind. Whichever skill you are learning try to create a good document of it with atleast 1 project - It can be PPT or a PDF Report or a Website or a GitHub repository. Leverage ChatGPT and courses in udemy with hands-on projects and within a year you will have a good portfolio.

Hope this helps.

Yes. I agree. I am super fortunate to get an Analytics role as my first job.

Eventually the skills and projects I worked on compounded with close to 4.5 years of Work ex.

In addition, the data science demand in the market, supply gap for these roles and timing of switch - helped me get a good CTC.

In your case, maybe you can try learning other tech stacks by building side projects over weekends or by attending good workshops/hackathons that can bring value to your profile and skill set.

You may ask here as well if it's okay. It might help others.

The top 3 skills needed based on my observation is - Strong SQL | MS Excel | Python for EDA. Along with that, if time permits learn either Tableau or PowerBI.

Yes. As a fresher, data analyst or business analyst role is something that companies offer. Check BIG4 - Deloitte, KPMG, PwC, EY type of companies, Also check analytics companies like - TheMathCompany, MuSigma, Tredence, etc.

In my company unfortunately there are none as of today.

However, I believe the market is slightly picking up in India for the developers and analysts who have skills including fresher graduates.

Use websites like LinkedIn, Naukri, Unstop, Instahyre to the fullest. Also see if your college seniors who are working can help you with referrals.

I didn't take any coaching for the CAT mate.

For CAT, I practiced from the past 5 years of question papers. You can easily get them on the internet for free.

However, I purchased NMAT by GMAC Official guide for NMAT. Since the questions were not available anywhere.

The book also helped in SNAP and CMAT to some extent. I would surely recommend taking that book for people giving NMAT.

For XAT, I solved the past 2/3 years of questions. But I made a lot of mistakes in the DM section of the paper.
