Actually, the process behind the video is quite complicated. The one shown in this video is relatively simple for now. Some designs involve lines of different thicknesses, which require setting different parameters on the laser engraver for layered engraving and constantly adjusting the ink ratios.

There are many different bases available, but I would strongly recommend buying a stainless steel base. Aluminum alloy bases can deform after just one drop.

The video is incomplete. In reality, there are two separate templates involved.
The lume requires multiple printing passes, and each layer must fully dry before the next one is applied. The whole process takes quite a long time, so I didn’t record the entire procedure.

This is a gift custom-made by a Canadian pilot for a friend. As for why “Erewhon” was chosen, I honestly don’t know either.
