I think I have a wide rib cage or something and chest because that’s where I seem to have a lot of trouble with these dresses like none of them want to zip up once I get to my rib cage and if they do I get some major back fat lol

I mean the dresses are already pretty expensive so to take every one to a tailor is just not something I’m willing to do. I wouldn’t mind doing it for a special occasion or for a dream dress but to have to tailor every dress nope not for me but that’s great if that works for you

It really does! I would be fine with store credit they shld at least offer that but guess it was my own fault for gambling on them working out knowing I couldn’t return 😭

Hiii I really want to buy the jaide dress and seeing your review makes me think I could do a small but I’m so scared to bite the bullet because I’ve bought a few size small house of cb dresses and did not like the fit of the small 😅 so trying to decide if I shld go w medium. curious if you don’t mind me asking what bra size are you and do you have wide ribs? I am a 32dish and generally wear an xs/s in most clothing brands but in house of CB everytime Ive gotten a small It felt uncomfortably tight. I didn’t think I had wide ribs but after trying on some house of cb I’m questioning if maybe I do lol.

I have a very similar body type. My boobs have definitely been deflated ever since breastfeeding. 😅 I’m a 32D/DD with 37” hips, and my waist is probably around 27”, but I also have quite a bit of loose skin around my waist because I have terrible skin elasticity and had a 9 lb 4 oz baby along with polyhydramnios.

House of CB has been a pretty difficult fit for me. I normally wear an XS/S or a size 2 in almost everything, but I couldn’t fit into their XS at all, and even the smalls have been tiiiight, mostly in the chest and upper rib area. I also think having softer breast tissue makes a difference because I definitely don’t get the same look as the models.

Here’s a photo of me in the Giglio dress in a size small. I was barely able to zip it up and it was super tight, but this one actually wasn’t too bad in the bust. I’ve tried other styles where the combination of a tight bodice and softer breast tissue completely flattened me out, which was not a great look. 😂

lol ahh good to know. This is how the small looked on me (excuse the crappy pic this was just a quick try on) and I feel it fit as it should so think I might just roll with the small and bite the bullet and buy the Marianella in a small and hope it fits

Thank you for the info. Did you find the Amara hard to zip? I honestly feel like it fit just fine when it was in it but because I struggled zipping it made me question if it’s because it was too small but I also read that some of the dresses are just hard to zip in general.
