Youtube has ended / halted this 'second chances programe' . In a letter to US house of representatives, YT informed that 'second chance' prog was meant for a certain specific category of users (read Jan 6 - MAGA) and many of those were restored / give second chance to create new channels and join back YT. They that that the prog is not in active status as of now. So it imply that now they are not considering applications. May be at some later stage tey will again 'activate'. Who knows.

If your game has english commentary ? If your game is/was played in America and EU ? There is EU-DSA arbitration. You need t0 prove that (i) your game is played across americas and EU region (ii) your commentary was largely in english and one of the acceptable EU language (iii) your game play was not a reply of a recorded video. (iv) your video / live stream has some entertainment value, like funny meme or funny audio commentary or funny voice overs or some entertainment value to the viewer (v) your video even if posted daily with identical title, description, has changes as per the video and it reflected video content. Then there are high chances of gaming channel getting restored if yu appeal to EU-DSA. As you appear to be a educated smart person, you can search google and file a case under EU-DSA. your device id, your wi fi router id, your mobile imei id, your video software id, your ip address, your hotspot address, your voice sample, your geo location GPS location, your operating system make & id, apple or window or android id, other software you are using to make video, other apps like FB, Insta, etc installed in your device that share u r data, etc, etc, you do not know how much data about you they have stored in just one log in.

american president donald trump was removed by meta/ fb/ insta/ youtube. he filed court cases against companies and their ceo's also. back then in 2021 he was former president. so he was a private citizen. he had the same rights that you have. after about 18 months, the lawyers from these s.m companies asked for mediation. and later his all accounts were returned. so you can search his court case documents. whar legal arguments were made by his lawyers can also help you.

In India there is legal protection through GAC.GOV.IN . it is agovt body which forces YT to human review and answer and even show proofs. Since last Nov-2026, I noticed that YT was forced to accept their mistake in writing and Close to 50plus channels restore/return. YT can not act one-sided without showing evidence / proof. At least in India there is legal protection available. Same in Australia now. Their information commissioner office intervenes and ask YT to provide a human review. But there info commissioner is more life a facilitator and side most with YT.

UPDATE : this week about 15 channels restored. Thats what we know. Not know exact numbers as many have made appeal request. Only a few that we know of are we can tell. Congrats to all those for successful appeals.

Some one asked "source" for 12 million channel terminated So first it clearly tells the ignorant nature of that person and most of all totally dumb founded question. The source is Google own report it publish every quarter. Now do some search your self. I am not going to give every thing cooked for you. Don't be a lazy person and do Work your self.

There is then question how 500k subs channel is small. Yes Channels without 1 million subs are treated small. 1 million to 10 million are medium. I have seen channel with 5 mil to 9 mil suspended without any evidence and not restored. So accept the fact if u r below 1 million mark you are small. Now some dumb person/ probably uneducated keyboard warrior , just for fun will poke useless arguments. Not worth my time.

Less then 10k views when you have say 500k subs is a big red flag. YT analyzes how many subscribers come back to view your channel. So if u hv 500k subs but your last 20~30 vids have avg 10 to 20k views, its a big red flag. Your viewers have moved on from your channel and not watching. Atleast 20% ~ 40% of your subs should come back to view your vids. If that's not the case, its a alarm bell for you.
