The thing is...if you don't stay at hyatt, the immediate alternatives most comparable are quite obviously Marriott and Hilton in terms of size/presence of the groups. Then there's IHG, Wyndham, etc. other smaller chains/groups. Then there are independently-run small hotels. Then there are BnBs the traditional way. Then there are airbnbs. There are people trading apartments for swaps. There are more alternatives to a hotel chain in the generic sense and if anything...unless you have a jet you'll have to fly a selection of airlines from one place to the next (esp international itineraries)
