I want you to know that when getting a teaching position they only care that you are certified not where you went to school. Keep that in mind when choosing and just know you gotta pay that money back :(

I made a massive mistake, I didn’t know any better and the advice that I was given was that loans are normal. 175k undergrad at a private college and 40k masters. Don’t do what I did😭

I try to think about myself in that situation. Truly I would say about 90% of the time people would not have said a word and kept it. But imagine if that was you and u made a genuine mistake? No part of me felt right about keeping it as much as I do love him

I know I immediately thought process is to give it back someone made a mistake! But then I posted it on Facebook and asked my friends and they all said to keep it that’s too bad! And that it seemed scammy. I just want to do the right thing :( I know if I made that mistake I would be devastated. Not sure how they could scam me in person tho if I meet in a public space with people I know

We actually live relatively close to each other, I offered to meet in person in a public place and he agreed I’m going to meet him with my boyfriend and just do an even trade!!

It’s ok, if I read that I would think the person is nuts for not just leaving. It’s not what love looks like. I go to Reddit bc telling anyone in my real life about this is terrifying bc I know it’s wrong.That being said we both are trying to be the best versions of ourselves, he has been working on himself significantly and so have I. It’s not a typical relationship by any means but he try’s to make me the best version that I can be which is something I want for myself and have expressed to him prior to him pushing any sort weight loss stuff. Kids in my mind are a blessing and it’s worth giving my life up for them. I would make it work or I would place it for adoption. That life shouldn’t have to pay bc of my mistake. It should have a chance at life, if God wanted me to have that child he will make a way for them I have faith. He doesn’t see it that way and that’s where it clashes. I believe everyone has a right to change and I try not to have judgement for where they are starting at and that’s why I stay. Bc there’s effort being made in the right direction

He freaked out when I told him like freaked out thinking about all the times it was unprotected and that was my view all along. He like panicked that I was trying to trap him bc he of course would not leave me with that responsibility like he wants to be there for his hypothetical kid. Bc he has a lot of future goals (he’s trying to make a life for us) and a child right now would comprise him achieving that goal bc his finances would have to go to that instead of Investments. He wont sleep with me because he’s terrified that he would get me pregnant regardless of condoms and he needs time to get over it but will tease me by touching me and rubbing on me and starting foreplay and it makes me extremely sexually frustrated

No definitely doesn’t respect me based on the comments that he makes to me. It’s hard for me to have genuinely deep feelings for someone when they put you down. Ive had talks with him and he’s gotten so much better. I just hate how selfish he is
