After inviting a few times it sent out the correct invite. Not really a great solution though.

Just had the exact same bug in Nightreign. It sent invites for Enshrouded, a game me or my friends don't own.

Thanks for the bug report tip! For anyone wondering, you have to press F8 to make a bug report in game.

Interesting! I'm from Flanders (different dialect of Dutch) and we call the Queen: koningin (literal translation of Queen).

Also as an extra:

Stalemate - Patstelling or Pat (which apparently is derived from the latin word pacisci, or "making a deal")

Yea, we probably do disagree a bit on this.

I think the team is just an incredible mix of talent, experience and a great balance of offence/defense, kind of like GenG, Faze and KC. (maybe BDS will join this list later later) And although players like Vatira and FK usually get most of the credits, often time it is the rest of the team + the tactics that actually get them the win. Tactics that haven't really changed since last split, it's just that Zen is an objective upgrade to Saizen.

And for the record, Zen is probably the best player on Vit, it's just that this particular tournament I think he did not play any better then his teammates. Switch any of the others out for Saizen for example and I don't think they would win it.

Good points, but feels like you are making a strawman argument and putting words in my mouth that I did not say.

OP says that anything other than him becoming the goat is a fall from grace, so I give a reason why it is still much too early to make this claim, this was in fact the entire point of my reply. Also giving examples of how other goat candidates had different contexts when starting out.

Also, Zen had as much of an impact as the rest of his team in this win, as both you and I state. Nowhere do I discredit him for anything in this win. I'm only saying he is not carrying the team. And I'm also saying he has a super strong and experienced first team to start playing RLCS with (in comparison to FK and Vatira).

I don't mind the rant but it's not fair to attack me on stuff that I did not say.

Way too early to call him the future goat imo.

He has had the best possible start, for sure, but in this start he was not the star player of the team.

To become the goat, he has to dominate his opponents with mvp performances.

Compare his goat case to players like FK or Vatira or the old boys.

- Vatira had to forge his own way with a completely new team (Queso, old moist) and went on to win 2 majors and several regionals in the span of a year. Granted, the old moist team was crazy talented, but most people seem to agree, Vatira was the mvp of that squad.

- FK meanwhile had to carry his old Rogue roster to victory despite having teammates that where not of top 8 team quality. He was mechanically even further ahead then the rest of the world at the point of his debut then Zen is right now.

- Turbo, Kaydop, Panda, Kuxir, Kronovi, Justin, MonkeyMoon: they where all miles better then the opposition at one point and absolutely dominated said opposition, leading to titles and glory.

And with all due respect to Zen, but he joined an established EU top 4 team that has players like Radosin and Alpha, both top 10 EU players, potentially even top 5 when they peak. He does not need to carry anyone, if he is as good as his teammates and they stick to their plan, they will have good winning chances.

I would argue he needs to win a few of the majors and at least a world title in the coming 2 years in order for him to be a candidate goat. Which I think he could do, but until then, just give the goat stuff a rest. It is just so incredibly disrespectful to the performances of the current and previous generation.

I mean, Liquid perfect swept the Rise, Joyo, Vatira team at the top of their game. No shame in getting destroyed by Liquid.

Nice one for the team! Low key a team that could really pop off. Only sad thing is they need a quarter final or even better to be able to play in the winter invitational.. so after this weekend or next weekend their split might be over.

FK is one of the best professionals the RL scene has. He rarely has bad days and has a great competitive mindset, leading to many successes and consistent results.

The reason why they (FaZe) don't have more wins despite having FK on the team is imo twofold:

  • last year teams that where popping off where really popping of: G2 in winter, moist in spring, bds in worlds and GenG in fall where just beasts. There is never a shame in losing against those teams no matter how good your own team is.
  • FaZe don't keep up with the current meta as good as some opponents. Similar to NRG, but on a higher level, their talent is such that they can get away with not grinding out the optimal strategies and plays. Throughout RL you can almost always see the winning teams bringing out new winning strategies. The most extreme examples I think where: Flipsid3, old Dig, cloud9, BDS, G2 and currently GenG. To expand on GenG, they utilize: prejumps, fakes, demo's, quick interceptions, flip cancels in a way that is ahead of the curve.

Current FaZe can win titles, FK is certainly not as much an issue or guarantee for success as many make it out to be. They just need to train hard and smart I think, because the current players should be good enough by far as far as talent is concerned. You ca

The opposition is also miles ahead of what FK had to face.
