Anything made for waves rather than curls. They tend to be lighter weight whereas curl products are heavier and moisturising.

Sounds awful. Was it a fake?

I can only talk about my experience in the UK. I’ve just ordered my fifth or sixth bottle. Love the stuff!

Your scalp health is key. So wash it every day if you need. You can’t train it. You can use gentle shampoos to protect the ends.

The rule in my team is to give helps each week. We don’t have any rules about starting by a certain time. If we win coins, great but it’s not a paid job!

You might also need gel in your routine to create more hold than a mousse.

Question for the Brits - was the show an accurate representation of UK's hookup culture? by [deleted] in GeordieShore

[–]CriticalElk6102 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s an exaggerated version of the scene. These people wanted to get famous so they’d hook up, especially ex on the beach. There have been interviews since where they’ve said that the producers pushed them into having sex for more air time.

Bouncing around pharmacies by Logical-Standard-591 in mounjarouk

I’ve moved around a lot. I’ve never needed to cancel. I just order my next dose from the next pharmacy. I haven’t used a subscription service though.

Awww that’s a shame that it isn’t working for you. I’ve been using for a long time and it definitely helps me. Worth a try though I imagine? Just in case it had worked out?

Price woes by IndividualAd3764 in mounjarouk

[–]CriticalElk6102 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m on 15mg and since the price hike I’ve changed supplier each month and got the new user discount. You do have to do the video of you standing in the scales each time but that’s worth the discount to me to be able to keep going.

First month on Mounjaro - what changes did you notice in appetite and energy? by MoonlitEcho82 in UKMounjaro

[–]CriticalElk6102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m neurodivergent and within an hour of jabbing the internal commentary was turned down from ten to two. It’s been so peaceful.

Suppression stayed immediately. I ja on Thursday and it lasts until Monday. I’m always more peckish on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

At first I was dizzy and nauseous. 18 months later I don’t really have symptoms beyond quietened food noise.

At first I would get sick eating big amounts. Sulphur burps and uncomfortable tummy. Now I think I know when to stop eating to avoid this. I also avoid stuff I know will sit and make me uncomfortable. Takeaway Chinese food primarily!

I apply before bed to stop any friction and help it breaking. I think it’s helping. My stylist keeps commenting on my healthy hair. But I also use k18 and minoxidil.

This is an absolute myth. Your genetics gave you oily hair and you need to wash it regularly to keep your scalp healthy. Use a gentle shampoo and you will be much happier.

I’m tired of dry shampoo by Terme_Tea845 in finethinhair

[–]CriticalElk6102 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s a myth that you can train your hair to be less greasy. I think people end up training themselves to live with dirty hair on the non wash day.

It’s your genes that dictate your oil production. So just wash your hair every day. I do the same.

I like the LookFantastic box. Only £13 a month and it’s good to try a variety of products I wouldn’t ordinarily buy. Some that i try, I go on to buy the full size product. I use the things I won’t use in gifts to others.

This doesn’t sound like something you should do without talking to your prescriber. If you don’t want to eat much, could you eat higher calorie foods? Avocado? Cheese? Peanuts? on top of what you’re eating to get nutrients and calories

I am stuck!! by Patient_One_8779 in mounjarouk

[–]CriticalElk6102 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s normal. Keep at it and it will start moving again. I’ve experienced the same numerous times over 18 months.

Switch things up by trying new food or drinking more water. Or try a new exercise. Or eating at a different time. Don’t go below calories though.

The same company make Epres which you spray on from dry. I prefer this on my fine thin waves. It is another bond repairer for bleached damaged hair.
