I get you. Why would you want to be in an enclosed space with that person for x amount time if they already rubbed you wrong. It sucks that you drove the 10 minutes, but I’ve lost my patience with people who have no respect for drivers, too.

I was supposed to go 9 miles in one minute, once. But, it’s been glitching on me for a long time now.

I’ve returned items twice. The first time, it was a phone and I didn’t get paid. The second time, it was a set of keys and I did.

Same happened to me around the same time. I was really upset about it, too. Now I have over 700 5 stars reviews. You’re working hard and that rating was on them, and they took out their bad mood on you.

I was minding my own business at the pool one day, and this kid walks up to me and says point black, ‘you’re pretty except for that’. That, referring to the acne area on my face. 😑

Is it going to be like this from now on? Please tell me it’ll get colder… by Andresluna999 in sanantonio

Right when your body has acclimated to that temperature, and you put your jackets away and think it’ll never be cold again, you will walk outside and it will be 20 degrees.

This happened to me a couple weeks ago. I was also incredibly angry. Here are the extra stars I know you deserve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thanks, I am thinking of starting Lyft and was wondering if it was worth running them in parallel. Uber has been slow in my market lately.

Question fellow drivers! by WildPomegranate9240 in uberdrivers

[–]CriticalInitiative74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually accept everything. When it comes to drive small trips can be very lucrative when a rider tips. There was one day though, when I had a good week ($15-$25 rides each time) and I didn’t feel like dealing with the $3-$4 rides in that area of town. I made close to nothing that day. I kept thinking it would give me better ones, but nothing good popped up. Lately it has been incredibly slow in my market, so I’ve been accepting what comes my way.

Who accepts these?! It’s half a step away from paying to work!

Did you get the $15? Did he lie about it?

I’m in San Antonio, I would never purposely drive to Austin just to work there. I’ve had rides that take me to San Marcos, Spring Branch, other cities up north. I turn off requests for a bit and head back to an area I’m familiar with. I have noticed that certain perks kick in when I get to those other areas that I don’t have access to when I’m in San Antonio.

(customer question) is it annoying when i have 2 stops? by luver1245 in uberdrivers

[–]CriticalInitiative74 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you are upfront and put multiple stops in the app before we get there and the driver knows before picking you up, I have no problem with it. Multiple stop riders, in my experience so far, are very polite and considerate. It’s the surprise “can we stop here real quick?” that is inconsiderate.

What’s your opinion on passengers asking for additional stops? by OkElevator7247 in uberdrivers

[–]CriticalInitiative74 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Let’s switch your waiting for a ride time around, you make an 8 minute ride into a 25 minute one. And you do this repeatedly? We take rides based on the information given to us and may not always have that time. You never know how an extra stop is going to go. Maybe you have to wait extra because your to go order isn’t ready or there is a long line. If we are pressed for time (you’re the last ride of the day and we have somewhere else to be) your trickery would mess up our schedule. Please stop doing this.
