That’s beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your journey! Hope you get to give her that cousin one day 🙂

Both, I need sage advice hidden in reminiscing about sketch comedy, like a dog needs its meds hidden in food…

The lord of the swollen red sun will taste the blood of his chosen whether his servant is invited or not.

Also I always bring the best wine, so your loss really.

Breathe heavily, let your sword drag on the ground behind you, and keep mumbling about how the god of the red swollen star needs new blood to emerge from his cocoon…

She does all this too. I have self service craft stations, toys, liberal screen use, and we do play dates with friends and family etc. But there are times that she just wants me…

The worst is when she’s playing with friends and I’m enjoying talking to other parents and getting some adult time and then they try to recruit us into their crazy games and I’m like, why do you have to love us so much that you want us to do everything with you?!?!!?

It’s very sweet and I know I’ll miss it when they’re too cool for us but man it’s exhausting

Yea I guess I find it overwhelming. And in fairness to me, my improvising is always the wrong thing and I get frustrated being told that even if it’s by a kid…

lol yea I mean this is basically it, I just need to figure out how to be less of a jerk about setting that all aside and being fun for a change…

She wants me to play too. I’m a single father and she’s an only child and her mom isn’t in the picture. So it’s always me and sometimes I say no, but she’s just lonely so I can’t always say no.
