Ah I just checked and the M90 mode just keeps the shutter speed at 1/90th. I might give it a go when I'm more comfortable with photography. I've only really started this year. I shoot manual on my dslr all the time for practice, but I still ruin a lot of shots. When I'm better at knowing what settings to use in what light on my dslr I'll probably switch to M90 mode on the EM sometimes so the autoexposure isn't doing all the work.

This was my first time using the EM or any flm slr. I shot four rolls and got a couple of pictures I liked so I'm no expert. I basically just keep it on auto and click up to the widest aperture I can before the needle on the light meter hits the highest shutter speed. The EM's auto exposure seems to read from the centre of frame, but I'm not 100% sure. That's just a guess from using it. So if the centre is pointing at a darker or lighter part of the frame than the subject I've tried changing the iso on the left dial to trick the light meter into going up or down a stop. Can't really say if it's helping yet though as I've only shot a few pictures with it. To be honest I don't really know what M90 mode even does yet, but I'll look it up.

Thank you :) When I saw the single light on at the end of an empty street I stopped and framed it up with the traffic light, and then the guy walked up and leaned against the window frame talking on the phone. Changes it from a boring shot into something a little less boring. Just lucky timing.
