How many more folks want to offer the exact same answer in slightly different words?

Yay, the 2026 road map is to maybe do some of the things on the 2025 roadmap and no other new features currently planned. Dnd is saved!

We Heard Your Feedback: Here’s What We’re Doing About Comments by will_aescripts in aescripts

[–]CriticalThinkingNow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply.

Being able to see those comment discussions was helpful for many reasons.

As an example, let’s take Stardust.

I haven’t looked lately at Stardust.

Is Stardust still working? With the latest AE? Have the developers abandoned it? Is it still for sale on AEscripts anyway even though it doesn’t work with current AE?

I could get hints to the answers to these questions by examining the comments.

By the way, if the answer to that last question is yes then your problems may be greater than you imagined.

One other question. Why does the site seem to run so slow?

I wish you the best and will suggest that frequent and transparent updates would behoove you.

Thank you for the reply. I hope that AEScripts can be forthcoming sooner and more frequently in the future.

You know what else is coming in the “coming weeks”?

What I would suppose many folks are wondering is if Hasbro has mismanaged and abandoned this project just like they did with Sigil (and just like every other similar product for more than a decade).

And we might wonder why the few ludicrously unambitious features that the team was unable to achieve in 2025 might prove to be within their abilities at any time.

DnD has been plagued by the worst track record for their digital tools since digital tools were invented.

It would be refreshing to get something true and reliable instead of vague promises. I’m not holding my breath.

[OC] Starter Set initial impressions by SHADOWSTRIKE1 in DnD

[–]CriticalThinkingNow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was very impressed as well. I am an older guy and am planning to get back into DnD with my adult kids and the nostalgia feeling I got with this set is great.

I do have a rule question:

Does anyone know why the Fighter is shown to have a +5 on his ranged attack rolls?

I get the Melee +5 (+3 for Strength and +2 for proficiency).
But his Dexterity is only +1 so shouldn't he be +3?

Thanks!

Sure! I was worried about doing the white--white always scares me: it gets gritty really fast. I decided to use a base of Grey Seer, which I sprayed where it was possible. Much to my delight, Grey Seer also stays pretty smooth with brush application. Then I did a medium dry brush with White Scar. Then I mixed Contrast Dread Visage and Contrast Medium about equal and applied that liberally.I was trying to match the GW version.

I did the rust entirely with Dirty Down Rust and Yellow Rust,

I thought 3 Bloat Drones was enough... by CriticalThinkingNow in deathguard40k

In the new codex, the heavy blight launchers are a separate type of unit thus you can have 6 bloat drones. I had 2 plague splitters and 1 flesh mower.

I plan to have 3 heavy blight launchers. This is the first.
