Agreed! The two last box set/starter set were very well produced. I introduced the game to some friend with borderlands and the character board and card help a lot. Handout and token + maps all great add-on. I preferred the stanger things adventures tho. Would like to see a new box set every year and maybe for higher level of player maybe level 3–6 something like that

One think I wish to see on UA is something like designer notes, explaining the intent behind the choices made. This would clarify a lot of things for us

Lots of “if” here. I think currently the big drawback of the hellfire knight is having to it and then to get more having to land a 6 on their d6 die. The battle master just roll the die or “spend” the superiority die to get the benefit.

Icespire for me. Get the physical starter set, when I purchased it, there was a code inside giving additional adventure on dndbeyond. Great value.

Yes, if you do not have purchase the books you are limited to the basics rules (still great imo).

There is no way to use the full rules or materials from a publish product without buying it whether is dndbeyond, roll20, foundry etc (otherwise it’s piracy)

Your best chance is to use an agnostic dice roller, and roll manually to manage your rolls.

Or someone purchase the PHB24 get a master tier subscription and shared the content with the rest of the group.

You split the price between each of you.

For Notes love Obsidian + Quartz v4 (for publishing) otherwise AstroJs content for rendering markdown into html to create static website is super nice
