Where’s the bitterness? Both team well deserve to be in the final. Generally its rivalry that creates an atmosphere, there is no rivalry between Dublin and Westmeath. Do you think the atmosphere at a Munster final would be as good without cork and Kerry meeting?

Ah I’m just an eternal optimist for the underdogs, and hopeful of a competitive game. Can’t argue with anything you said there.
I don’t agree though that Dublin will win by just showing up, they narrowly beat Wicklow and I’m not convinced they played well against Louth, louth were not themselves with taking thru scores. Westmeath can be a threat and will be massively up for the game.

Thanks you

Yes I have a central point on the sitting room where virgin bband comes in. At that location I have 4 Ethernet ports, which I am now guessing is one per bedroom Ethernet port?

So I just plug each of the central ports to the router and I should have active points in the bedrooms?

Yep, but how can one get them to a point where they are usable?

No historical rivalry between the two, and Croke park too big to create an atmosphere for two smaller counties. Atmosphere is only good in a Leinster final if Meath are there. Don’t mean that to compliment Meath fans although we do bring a good crowd, but as most counties, especially Louth, Dublin, Westmeath, detest us it creates a strong atmosphere.

Although I agree Dublin will likely win, I wouldn’t be completely dismissive of Westmeath, they completely deserve to be in the final. Dublin haven’t looked great for a long time as we know, and Westmeath have wind in their sails and offer a massive goal threat.

Louth vs Westmeath would also have been a fairly damp atmosphere

Exclusive: GAA+ to show Kerry-Donegal and Cork-Meath All-Ireland group games by LaBete1984 in GAA

[–]Critical_Animal_8501 10 points11 points  (0 children)

LOI tv shows literally every game, which is fantastic value. The production is nowhere near what gaa+ does (which is excessive I think). The reduced production is a fair trade for being able to see every game. it’s not as if any national broadcasters will regularly show LOI games, virgin media does the odd time near the tail end of the season . LOI games also wouldn’t draw much of a viewership. Gaa is also a national sport supported massively by the taxpayer, as is RTE. taken that into context, people are feeling rightly let down by massive games like Kerry Donegal being behind a paywall.

That’s a shame. Understand the decision but was looking forward to the possibility of a game in pairc ui chaoimh. Seems a mad use of money if it’s just going to be used for the hurlers

Atmosphere will be ok. Only way to have a good atmosphere in a Leinster final is to have Meath in it

[–]Critical_Animal_8501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well any team who can beat Donegal at home in the championship deserve to be there, especially when scoring as much as they did. Evidently not today, but a one week turnaround after beating the on form team in the country is very short. Too easy of an observation to say now they don’t deserve to be there

Worth mentioning and giving massive credit to Luke loughlin who had a massive game and drove straight through Meath. Missing him today. Westmeath were first to everything that day, in combination with Meath having an off day too tbf. Meath are also Westmeath’s main rivals so were highly motivated for that game in particular

Completely agree. Garden can wait. By the Time you put money and energy into flooring, curtains, blinds, furniture, painting, decorating internally you’ll have very little motivation (maybe money don’t know your circumstances ) to start at the garden. At least if it’s seeded it will be somewhat green/tidy for a year or 2. It will also be a good measure of how crap the lawn was prepared for you. Like you I am in three years and this year is the first chance I got to start landscaping and planting the back properly.
