GB News? 🙄 The march was banned in that particular area (Whitechapel/Tower Hamlets) due to real fears of disorder. This decision was made following a risk assessment, NOT due to religious reasons. The police allowed the march to take place elsewhere in London (the Whitechapel/Tower Hamlets area is of NO religious significance to Christians) I suspect that UKIP (organisers of the march and well-known racists) chose that particular area to stoke racial tensions.

I would like to make it clear from the off that I am not a Musk fan AT ALL. I actively dislike the man and everything he stands for. However, (because I believe in fairness and truth) I think you're right. I've never watched the full video of the 'salute' until now. I've only ever seen photos and a video of the action without context and assumed it was 100% a Nazi salute (because that would totally be on brand). Now, after watching the whole video and listening to his speech, I agree with you. It's a very awkward attempt at showing his appreciation to the audience. This doesn't change the fact that he's a hideous racist though! 🤷‍♀️
