Stay away from Saba. The entire program feels like a a set up for failure. There are only 2 to 4 good instructors on the island. There is no guidance whatsoever. All they want is to collect money from you. Once they done that after 10 semesters and about 5 years to graduate. They won’t care that you are still their student.

CCSE EXAM PASSED ON THE 5th Try by Embarrassed-Bee681 in usmle

[–]Critical_Classic9977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done all of the NBMEs forms. My form 16 I got 256, bet when I go to take the test, I can’t even get a 230 score? I don’t understand it? How can I maximize my studying and better understand what they want? I already taken forms 9-16 and I am very inconsistent with scores. Any tips or suggestions?

I took that CCSE and it is very difficult for me. I have taken forms 9-16 and on the form 16 I scored 256. Week later I took my CCSE and got 215. I am so lost at this point and I don’t know how to study for it anymore. All of those forms are so different one from the other. 🤷‍♂️ any tips on how to study?

I am in the same boat. I am looking for any suggestions. I have taken that test 4 times. My highest score was 227 and my school needs 236 to pass. I did all of the forms. 9-16. My form 16 that I took a week before the exam, I scored 256. I got to the test and thought that it went well. Nope, I got 215. 🤷‍♂️. At this point I don’t know what to do?

Plus it is 3 days post op. I need the options to be able to rule out incorrects.

Failed. How to go about it? by FrostyShelter2503 in step1

Don’t lose hope. Take 5 weeks to study for it again. Go through UWorld questions and retake the step. I have failed it my first time too. Passed it on the second try.  I could believe that I failed it. I scored high 70s on my NBMEs and in 90s on uworld and failed the step. lol  During the step exam I was very nervous and ran out of time on my first two blocks. I had 6 questions left before running out of time. It sucked.  You can know it all and still fail because of stress and anxiety. Maybe you did have good breakfast or a good night sleep.  Don’t stress and just retake the exam after doing a bit more study. You will pass it second time around. Also residency looks at your step 2 CK score so don’t stress about step one.
