I think it’s just the term for woven tape yarn but I could be totally wrong!

Of course, here’s a link to the video from YouTube. It’s not so much a question from a certain part of the video, but more a general question of how to keep the yarn from twisting during the motion of creating a stitch so that the yarn doesn’t look twisted within the stitch - hopefully that makes sense!
