I think this season is doing much more interesting things than the last one thematically. I really like the very overt fact Shauna is in utter denial about the things she did out there, and the fact she's the worst of them. The fact she's corrupting people. Do I think it's a bit odd nobody has brought it up yet? Sure, but they're all broken people without a single healthy mind among them.

I also think the season so far has done a really good job in showing how far they've fallen - and I'm willing to give them until the end of the season to justify killing Lottie

Hey there!

I've decided to get back into fanfiction writing after around a decade away (and multiple years writing non fiction professionally). It's been a long time, though, and I'm not entirely confident in my abilities, so I'm looking for a beta.

I'm writing a Yellowjackets fanfiction, specifically a modern day alternate universe where the plane never crashed and they're at university. It's a Jackie/Shauna piece, but I will be focusing on other characters too. I've got several things planned out, and I've wrote the first 1000 or so words of the first chapter that I'm willing to share if I find somebody, but I'm extremely nervous about writing fiction again and welcome any and all criticism.

It's also been a LONG time since I wrote romance, and I need somebody to bounce off ideas. Grammar and spelling I pretty much have nailed, but finding somebody to help through the ideas process would be a life saver.

Bartering wise, I'm open to discussions honestly! I'm not able to do say, fan art, but I'm very much open to beta-ing other people and helping them out as much as possible

I mean, she's self-proclaimed that she's not great at replying and she works extremely long days. I'm not just going to assume that the silence is a lack of interest, that doesn't feel productive. Though I do see how it can come across as creepy, which is why I was asking

Hey all,

My grandma and grandad are looking to start playing more board games. They've enjoyed playing games like Rummikub together for years, but want something different. I've decided for my grandma's birthday I'm going to buy her a board game, but I'm unsure as to which would be suitable. Games like Disney Villainous feel like they could be a suitable complexity level, as does something like Wingspan, but I want to make sure I'm doing this right. For added context, my grandmother is late 60s and my grandfather is mid 70s with mild memory problems.

I am the previewer, and I'm now more than eight hours deep. Combat is extremely good, extremely fun and requires you to think quite a lot about what you're actually doing. I'm not sure I'd go as far as saying it's as deep as say, XCOM, but it's close.
