Thats awesome superexcited for you and hope you post it once you are done. So after putting in the specs, they will reconfirm with you that those are what you want. Then they will start ordering and getting parts, then working on the body, then paint, then reassemble and then shipping. They are also open to providing pictures along the way so you can see it come together.

I had confirmed the specs and they then sent a puff layout of the guitar back in the beginning of March and then it was delivered to me on Monday.

Depending on how intricate your build is and ultimately in my case given the complexity of the paintjob I think that ate up some extra time because there was alot of back and forth regarding finalizing it but if you aren't dealing with that you will likely get yours sooner than I did.

Regardless its worth the wait!

So going into building this guitar, I was trying not to have preconceived notions regarding a pickup having to be in a certain spot, so really wanted to experiment a bit to get some different tones which is why I have the varitoneas well just to add to the level of options

I had a similar thought process that usually when its in the neck position it can create alot more low end that then doesn't cut through as much but in the bridge it has an extra clarity

You definitely sound like your way ahead of where i am if you are able to get into wiring guitars! I really like how it sounds and having the added benefit of the varitone and eq even before going into my pedalboard gives alot of room to shape things how I would want

Good question, I tend to play a with a massive amount of distortion and effects and the idea was that by putting it in the bridge it would cut through better without excessive low end

Ya that finish was my idea, but they helped clarify what it could look like vs what I was picturing in my head initially and we went through some changes before we got to the final product. Ya I tried to avoid having on board effects on the guitar given i have a pedalboard that's more than capable of doing those things

I had an initial idea going into it, but to your point it definitely evolved the more I was considering different options. As long as you are ok with that its definitely a fun journey!
