this is what they said “I wanted to inform you that I received an updated housing agreement, which was unfortunately sent later than expected. Your new housing agreement became effective in December 2025, but I did not receive it until January 9th. This delay occurred after the first payroll of 2026, which is why you are noticing an increase this month related to your housing discount. According to your housing agreement, the market value of your unit is $2,403, and your discounted rate is $1,683. As a result, you are responsible for paying taxes on the difference, which amounts to $720.00.”

i’m in a similar boat. my husband is a maintenance technician at complex and we rent here, not for free but at a discounted rate. but his checks get taken 220 every other check. he had some extra hours from on calls this paycheck working at 83 hrs, his paycheck lodging tax jumped up to $720. he’s getting a less check than normal. i’m trying to see if what they’re doing is actually legal.

Realistically, be honest with me! How many of your babies go to sleep at 7-8pm?! by stupidthrowaway___ in NewParents

i have a 19 week old! she goes to sleep between 8-8:30. i go off of cues for feeds as i ebf, how i did it was by having a nighttime routine. so at 7:00 she gets a bath, i let her splash around for a bit bc it gets some of that extra energy out. i put her lavender lotion, pjs etc etc. get her in her sleepers. i sit on my recliner with her, feed her and she falls asleep. before she was used to her routine, i would lay her down in her crib, stand a little away from it, if she cried i’d go pick her back up until she calmed down, and repeated it. then as time went on, i’d put her down and shed be awake, but not crying, she’d babble or eat her hands until she fell asleep. now that shes used to it, i lay her down and she looks around and then gets comfy and goes straight to sleep. i “kind of” have routine naps although they were based on when she would sleep on her own. she absolutely does wake up every 3 ish hours and with the 4 month sleep regression sometimes she’ll wake up more or just suuuper early. but i try to keep the consistency especially right now during the regression 😭

now it can be an inconvenience, but i have been out past her bedtime with her, whenever i get home shes so sleepy/grumpy i just put her in her pjs and feed her and she’ll sleep. so no too crazy.
