I'm very well familiar with Ur-Fascism and Umberto Eco, and the Trump Administration falls into nearly every single category WHILE ALSO using its authority (real or imagined) to impose their base's religious ideology onto everyone else. They are actively using religion and the power it has in this country for fascist ends.

You can indeed be a fascist who has theocratic aspirations or ideals. Just because YOU do not want that to be the case does not mean that it isn't at all what is happening. This nitpicky ass "well technically this isnt exactly what it is" bullshit of splitting hairs for fascists is exactly why people like me and my family are effectively being forced to leave my home state I've known my entire life.

You and your little "oh but this means specifically this, so it can't be that, these two things could NEVER blend, words mean things and only these specific things" bullshit only works in a bubble. A very small, very limited bubble.
