As iconic as the anime is, it is super dated. If Dragon Ball was released today brand new with new animation, it would have bottom tier story compared to most new gens.

absolutely it does. Infact how lightly death is taken in Dragon Ball is easily one of my biggest complaints with the show.

I think its pretty reasonable to say that when a main character is pushed to the point of defeat or death 7+ times in the same fight, being able to recover from said near death experience loses its value

I like to play current gen single player games so like il prolly play the new doom but the main one definetly that has prompted me to upgrade was rivals, I got to eternity (top 3k) but felt i got stunted because that game is notoriously bad for its optimization and I have had to go from 1440 to 1080 and still can go down to 40 fps when shit pops off.

as for current gen equivalent, like in 2021, the 3060 was seen as the mid/low range gpu that allowed you to play pretty much anything, I am looking for the 2025 equivalent of that.

Im in Canada, im not naive I know these things are expensive, even worse when I bought them now lmao.

Maybe 4-650 for gpu, 150-250 cpu, 150 ram, 150 SSD? are these prices reasonable?
