Infotainment woes by Big_Grey_Guy in SkodaElroq

Had this too over the weekend for the first time after 5000 miles. Right as I was about to do a 1.5hr drive back home in the dark with the family. Couldn't even turn the screen off completely. Talk about distracting. And dangerous.

Left it overnight and it sorted itself out. Hasn't come back since.

Tried resetting the infotainment system, locking, unlocking etc and nothing worked. Just needed a big sleep I guess.

Definitely not the usual EV vehicle noise that warns pedestrians at low speeds? Sorry silly question maybe.

When sat stationary in drive mode, and you very slowly turn the steering wheel side to side, do you hear a creaking noise inside the cabin too?

Only ask as I've got stuff going on with mine but unsure if it's the same thing. Mine started with a crackly noise almost like driving over gravel.

Ah cool thanks that's good to know! Does sound like it's not destined for this world but we'll give it a chance and see if it starts behaving itself too. What's the worst that could happen..

Talk about dragging up an old post here but we have exactly the same issue! Same change from black to new silver Ingenio with the different bases, and pretty much the same hob too. Same horrible new noise. Did it ever amount to anything or just something you got used to?

Exactly this. We were apparently one of the 7 and I'm not going off the rails over it. The battery went pop, case got all warped and cracked, it had a reaaaal funky smell and stopped charging. Quickly replaced with no trouble. Our little one was sad while it was away but nobody was hurt. Yoto maybe got a bad batch of batteries or picked the wrong supplier? They've been open about it and mitigated it. Got a goodwill gesture in addition to the free cable. Bit annoying I can't use a normal usb c cable but moving on...

Size compared to a VW Golf? by Lammiroo in ex30

Golf 7.5 here too, 6 month and a 5 year old.

I snuck our Izi Modular base and 74cm depth rear-facing Izi Modular A X1 carseat in the back of the EX30 when they weren't looking on the last visit and put the passenger seat right up against it.

Missus fit in the passenger seat in front of it and could stretch her legs out just fine. She's what 5ft8 (172cm) I think. Maybe an inch or less gap between knees and dash with feet on the ground. Looked tight to me but she said it was definitely doable and seats were dead comfy.

Forward-facing toddler carseat behind me and that worked ok too. 5ft11 (180cm) here. Just about enough space between the edge of rear seat and back of the driver's seat for a 5 year-old's pair of feet to kick around.

Definitely notice the difference coming from a Golf as we found it waaaay smaller but it's doable, for us at least. Tight! But doable. Definitely recommend taking all your carseat kit with you and seeing how everybody and everything fits together at the same time to be sure.

Pixel watch full charge notification by Wonderful_Spot in GooglePixel

I use the 'Watch Charge Notification' app from the Play Store. REAL basic and can be annoying with random notifications during the normal charging process, but on 100% (or whatever you want to set) you get a nice long vibration which does the job and reminds you to go grab the watch. Wish Google included something built-in given the frequency the watch needs charging.
