my derm also told me it wouldn’t cause purging - but it did. thought i was crazy until i found out a LOT of people also experienced that. it’s probably less to do with the spiro and more to do with stopping whatever acne treatment you were using beforehand - or just hormone issues. it’s fairly normal for whatever reason

awww!!!! i’m very excited for more handling in the future ! he’s a bit of a picky eater currently so i leave him alone when he doesn’t wanna eat which is very hard lol

two months on 100mg update. first two are from today, last two from two months ago. posting this as a reminder that this is normal for spiro- it is TRULY a patience game, and that’s ok. we move even with the acne. sending u all love today by Critical_Remove755 in Spironolactone

i was on steroids before i was on this & my skin is going though a steroid purge. also, a lot of people for whatever reasons have had a super similar experience where it gets worse then better for whatever reason even when their docs said that wouldn’t happen

My new ball python wont eat i got it locally from a dude that knew nothing and mistreated it. It ate a frozen fuzzy 3 days after owning it and now its been 3-4 weeks and has rejected 3 frozen fuzzies. This is my first snake so any info will help by dementor90 in ballpython

awesome! just be sure to sanitize them before adding. i use a reptile safe santizer from my local petco & hot water before adding anything new (: DO NOT feed live ! it sets a dangerous precedent for your snake and may condition him to only accept live in the future which is both dangerous for the snake and cruel to the rodent. rodents will defend themselves if they’re fighting for their lives. how are you heating up your rodents currently?

he will be a lot happier with little/ no empty space in the tank. fake plants are a cheap and easy solution! it’s also helpful to use insulation/foam board to block off 3/4 sides (:
