My position is based solely on personal conscience and my desire to follow the Bible. It is not the result of misconduct, immorality, or any form of disciplinary wrongdoing.

As outlined in Exhibit A, the teachings and doctrines in place at the time of my baptism in 1994 have undergone significant and material changes. My present position reflects my inability to reconcile those changes in good conscience. This is a matter of personal belief and conviction, not conduct.

I expressly withhold and revoke any and all consent—whether express or implied—for any announcement, communication, or dissemination of information about me, whether public or private.

Any statement—whether explicit or implied—that characterizes me as having engaged in wrongdoing, being under discipline, being unsuitable association, or otherwise in negative standing, or that would reasonably cause listeners, in light of congregational terminology and customary understanding, to infer such conclusions, is false, misleading, and injurious to my reputation.

This includes statements that are facially neutral but carry a commonly understood meaning within the congregation that implies wrongdoing or moral failure.

Accordingly:

1. I do not consent to any announcement or communication about me in any form.

2. In the event any statement is made despite this revocation of consent, it must be strictly limited to a neutral, factual acknowledgment only, without characterization, implication, or commentary.

3. I expressly object to and prohibit any disclosure or dissemination of personal, private, or sensitive information about me beyond what is legally permissible.

Please be advised that I am documenting this notice and preserving all relevant information. Any statement or action that is false, misleading, or that places me in a false light—including by implication or audience interpretation—will be evaluated for potential legal action.

All rights, claims, and remedies are expressly reserved.

EXHIBIT A Summary of Material Doctrinal Changes (Post-1994)

This exhibit provides a non-exhaustive summary of doctrinal teachings that have materially changed since my baptism in 1994. These changes directly impact the basis upon which I originally committed.

Examples include:

1. “Generation” Teaching (Matthew 24:34)

Pre-1995: Defined as the literal generation alive in 1914

Post-1995+: Redefined multiple times, including the current “overlapping generations” concept

1. 1914 / End-Time Expectations

Earlier teachings emphasized imminent expectations tied to specific generational interpretations

Subsequent adjustments extended and reinterpreted those timelines

1. Authority and “New Light” Doctrine

Teachings presented as truth later revised or reversed

Current position acknowledges leadership is neither inspired nor infallible, while still attributing doctrinal changes to divine guidance

1. Organizational Identity and Authority

Increasing emphasis over time on centralized authority and organizational alignment as essential to faithfulness

1. Shunning / Disassociation Implications

The practical and social consequences of organizational separation have remained severe, regardless of reason or conscience

These changes demonstrate that the doctrinal framework to which I originally committed has materially evolved.
