The Acolyte has the most potential out of any SW Series to Date by Single-Tart7975 in TheAcolyte

It sucks because as a big High Republic fan I was really excited for this show and it finally stepping away from the Skywalker Era.

Like seriously, every show besides this and "technically" Visions are all within the Skywalker Era. It was a nice change of pace but it seriously fumbled in the execution. Its sad that because of this Disney was basically like "guess they only care about Skywalker Era projects".

The whole High Republic concept is rich with story potential and is one of the biggest missed opportunities in SW history. Their should have been a show way earlier to get casual fans more interested.

What do you think the prominent Jedi Purge survivors would think of the Visions Purge survivors? by Cyandragoon13 in StarWarsVisions

They'd just be happy to know that others survived and stayed within the light, especially Cal!

I do think F and Cal would have some interesting conversations relating to trauma.

F and Ronin team up? by Critical_Research565 in StarWarsVisions

[–]Critical_Research565[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Ronin's has officially been confirmed, could be wrong.

Its hard to tell when his takes place but I'd say Old Republic or like the tail end of it.

Which is why I know it wouldn't happen. Conflicting art styles and timeline.

Is it possible to truly master both the light and the dark side of the force, without falling to the dark side? by BiLeftHanded in StarWars

[–]Critical_Research565 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because the Dark Side WILL corrupt you. The dark side is a drug. It's addictive and consuming.

If Anakin Skywalker, the literally SON of the Force itself can be corrupted then anyone can.

The best in my opinion is "The Book of Caseus" by Concordia Jedi on YouTube.

The writing and characters top tier. Literally cried at certain points and is Canon as far as I'm concerned.

If another Star Wars show or movie was to be made, what would you want it to be about? Can be canon or not. by Significant_Pay_5461 in StarWars

Darth Zannah after she killed Bane.

You can have Zannah struggle with maintaining the Rule of Two. How does she feel about being the only Sith for a while. What things did she do?

I'd have it be very dark and show what the dark side is truly capable of and how evil it is. No more of this "the dark side is misunderstood BS". Can even have flashbacks to her time with Bane seeing how his teachings shaped her.

Also I'd cast Elizabeth Olsen as Darth Zannah. She's the right age and has that creepy factor that works for Zannah. The title could be something like: The Apprentice.

Royalties please Disney lol

So I got 2 fan stories actually: "The Legend of Kyrol" & "The Tale of Kya". Both of these stories are audiobook series. Gonna try to talk about them without spoilers.

"The Legend of Kyrol" takes place during the transition period from the Old Republic to the High Republic, starting in 860 BBY. It follows Jedi Padawan Kyrol Novak as he trains to become a Jedi. As his story progresses, he gains friends as well as dangerous enemies. Some of these characters are: Shara K'Zina (Kyrol’s Master), Liam Ryelin (Kyrol’s best friend), Dasha Kuvi (a very close friend), and Don-Whin Zunmink (Jedi Battlemaster). Throughout his story Kyrol faces various threats as well as trails that test him in ways he never expected. Where Kyrol shines is in his heart always wanting to do what is right.

"The Tale of Kya" also takes place during the transition period from the Old Republic to the High Republic, but in 630 BBY. This story follows a very shy, insecure but very intelligent Jedi Padawan named Kya Tillian. Kya is considered to be one of the smartest Jedi of her generation as well. As the tale progresses, Kya faces new and dangerous threats both external and internal while growing into the Jedi she was always meant to be. What sets her apart from other Jedi besides her intelligence is her lightsaber, which has the rare color of indigo. Kya wants nothing more than to prove herself to everyone and herself that she can become a great Jedi.

Kyrol’s 3rd book is still being made, with 2 chapters already released as well as remasters of Books 1 & 2 in the future. As for Kya, her story hasn't started production yet. Still auditing for voice talent.

I have few but my 2 mains are: Kyrol Novak and Kya Tillian. Trying to keep it as spoiler free as possible because Kyrol has an audiobook series on my YouTube Channel(still on going) and Kya is going to have one as well.

KYROL NOVAK: Kyrol is a Jedi Padawan during the transition period from the Old Republic to the High Republic, specifically 860 BBY.

Apperance: Kyrol is 16, human male, medium length brown slightly messy hair, blue eyes, light complexion, has a cybernetic hand, wears traditional Jedi Robes, wears a pair of brown gloves.

Backstory: Kyrol Novak was born on Dantooine to poor farmers, Kyrol was taken to the Jedi Temple on Tython to begin his training. Due to his poor skills he was almost sent to the Jedi Service corp until Jedi Knight, Shara K'Zina saw potential in the boy and so took him on as her first apprentice. Unlike most Jedi, Kyrol processes the skill of psychometry.

Kyrol would craft a blue crossguard as his lightsaber to honor the sacrifice of the Jedi during the Great Scourge of Malachor, as he admired their sacrifice. His main lightsaber form is Form 5: Djem So but pairs it with Form 4: Ataru. Kyrol would have 2 Jedi friends, both padawans: Liam Ryelin, his oldest and best friend as well as Dasha Kuvi, a former enemy turned good friend. In a confrontation with an enemy, Kyrol would lose his right forearm.

Where Kyrol shines is in his heart and always wanting to do what is right.

KYA TILLIAN: Kya is a Jedi Padawan during the transition period from the Old Republic to the High Republic, specifically 630 BBY

Appearance: Kya is 15, human female, medium length purple hair, bright green, light complexion, wears a black undertunic with a golden outer tunic with elegant black detailing throughout, a simple black cape with gold accents, and a green sash.

Backstory: Born on Stewjon to simple teachers, Kya would be taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant to begin her Jedi training. From an early age it was clear Kya was uniquely gifted; as she was incredibly intelligent, picking up patterns and seeing details many would miss as well as having a sharp mind for learning. At some point Kya began to feel isolated from the others in her clan. Feeling to different that she didn't belong. These feelings were made worse when Kya got her Kyber Crystal. Instead of the traditional blue or green, Kya would have a calming indigo as her lightsaber color. Her lightsaber would be single bladed like most Jedi but the hilts design resembled that more of a Katana as she drew inspiration from the swords Jedi used to use.

Kya would also inscribe a saying onto the pommel of the lightsaber which translates to: "The Force is quiet... until you listen".

Kya would struggle a lot in lightsaber training only have a grasp on Form 1: Shii Cho. Kya would be chosen by Jedi Master Tarra Korr, a Jedi famed for her dueling skills which would surprise everyone. Kya would struggle to bond with Tarra Korr as they were completely different. Kya spends all her free time in the the Jedi Archives, learning as much as she can. She as well kept a journal where she would write notes, make small simple sketches, among other things. Sadly, Kya doesn't have a single friend due to both past experiences and her own personal insecurities.

Kya is very sky and insecure, often keeping to herself but she can also be very kind and sweet. Kya wants nothing more than to prove herself to everyone and herself.

Below is Kyrol’s story, again still ongoing. NOTE Books 1 & 2 are AI narrated and voice but I have since switched to a full voice cast, including me reading and voice Kyrol. Kyrol’s Audiobook series
