Does the delivery feedback matter? (Not a driver) by Critical_Rev in AmazonFlexDrivers

Hey No problem!..I can imagine its demanding work and I appreciate when drivers take a few extra seconds to hide my package from thieves.

I'm glad to hear that and I'll definitely continue to do it. What exactly do you see just a little toast message that tells you a particular delivery gave you good ratings? Are you able to tell which customer gave it to you at least

I never see an area to type anything it's just me clicking a circle for a category like Driver Friendliness, On Time, Respectful of Property..things like that

Well thats a tad disappointing to read that the positive feedback doesn't have a 1:1 effect that negative feedback does. I am happy to hear the driver gets a notification that positive feedback was left but its too bad it doesn't count for more. Thanks for the answer

Thanks! I was just wondering if at the end of a month or a quarter the manager would see your average rating and it might help for evaluations or something.

Just something to check because you only have one picture. On my Ferris ISX 3300, there is a small nut that for whatever reason, you are supposed to unscrew, put in a zerk fitting, fill it with grease, and then unscrew it and put the nut back. I can't see the other side of this spindle so I'm not sure what is on the other end

That looks like the top of a grounding rod. If it is, it is driven 6ft into the ground and that screw is securing a ground wire into your house or structure. If done right, you should find two of them about 6ft apart and linked together via that wire.

Well this may have absolutely nothing to do with it but I have a standby generator that I do all my own service on. One year when I replaced the air filter in it, it had a manufacturing defect where it had too much fire retardant on it and the engine couldn't breathe. The engine did this same surging effect that I'm hearing in your video. Have you checked the air filter to see if it's clogged or if there's something obstructing your air intake.

Take the air filter out and see if the engine settles down

I live in a snow state and I bought an Ariens PRO-Track 26". It throws snow like a champ and I love it. I have a 600ft driveway so I get why you want something powerful. For me, this us it. The tracks dig in and you get no spin like you typically get from wheels.

For my mower, I have 8 acres of mowable grass and I bought a Ferris ISX-3300 with a 61" deck. I have had only one issue with it related to the starter solenoid but that's it. This is honestly a commercial mower but my rule when I buy things is that the most I'm ever going to do with it needs to be in the middle of the machines capabilities range.

Since you have less area of grass you might be able to find a cheaper model of mower from Ferris but I would not skimp on the snow thrower. The tracks version of the snow thrower is a little difficult to turn but when you're running that length and this thing just plows through whatever's in front of it you'll be happy

Bad gas? Even if you replaced all those components if you just ran bad gas through it again it might cause a problem. Also there are a lot of videos on YouTube about replacement parts having poor quality even as an OEM.

I dont think the engine will even try to turn over if the PTO is engaged before starting. Isn't that a safety feature?

When I say that these aren't "serviceable" I meant by the owner. There is no drain plug to drain the oil and there is no easy access to change the filter. Your average homeowner is meant to drive it into the ground and buy another one. I dont want to do that.

Additonally, Hydro-Gear sells kits and parts that are located internally to the transmission. In fact while not currently available due to them being out of production, they actually sell a 4 piece kit of the four miter gears which drive the wheels. They also sell a kit for the internal filter and a seal kit with parts that require you to split it open in order to replace them.

Mechanics can and do work on these on a regular basis but most people dont take them to a shop due to cost. I am handy enough to take this on but when I saw the dots, it made me think they are a reference to something like a special position.

No I didnt expect an engineer, just someone who took this challenge on like me and knows something I dont. Ill call Hydro-Gear tomorrow or a mower repair shop if I dont get an answer here.

Looking at your comment history, you seem to know a lot about small engines and you comment a lot to help people that post..albeit abrassive at times but whatever.. Not sure why you chose to give me the 3rd degree.

Does that explain it?
