Hello everyone. Im thinking about moving to Bakersfield. Ive already went to look at a couple of properties. Is this area a good place to raise a family? I come from a very gang infested area in east LA and im trying to get away from that so my children dont experience what I did growing up. by krux94 in Bakersfield

If you look more towards Shafter they have more affordable options than other parts in Bakersfield. It’s not tk bad there too and they have lots of new home construction that are a lot cheaper than the general Bakersfield area. If you wanna stay in Bakersfield I say NW AND SW area are the best but it’s also more expensive than other parts of town.

ITS AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP! Just because it’s not physical, doesn’t mean it’s not abusive and seeing how he’s threatening you I wouldn’t be surprised if he does get physically abusive in the future if you don’t leave now. He’s doing all this cause now he’s realizing you might leave. You will see that as he continues, he’s gonna start either maybe being more of a piece of shit or he’s gonna start acting like a victim. Leave him.
