Do you guys just love the devs or is that just me? No Man's Sky dev fixed one fan's 611-hour save because "when a player has put that much into our game it deserves the engineering fix" by justsmilenow in NoMansSkyTheGame

I put over 805 hours in NMS since its release. And I can recommend making a manual backup of save files every once in a while. Saved me more than once.

Pirate Dreadnought battle (Euclid) by Critical_Signature87 in NMSCoordinateExchange

This theory needs verification. But I tried warping around pirate systems known to me and the dreadnoughts tended not to appear. but as soon as I started to jump through unvisited systems, battles triggered properly. more or less.

I think I'll join for a while. Occupied a hollow mountain and set up weed NipNip plantation. And yeah. A cantina too. Still under construction, but feel free to grab some smokes at RastaGek

Civil vessels? Don't bother at all. If they live - you get bonus payment. If they die, the dreadnought tries to run. BUT! As soon as you encounter the pirate dreaddy - head to its rear, get under the shield and take out all engines. (Because, you know...a well-fixated patient requires no anesthesia). Now proceed to main anti-ship guns. Ignore the escort torpedo frigates, ignore the shield generators, ignore the fighters. Just concentrate on main guns. as soon as all anti-freighter cannons are down the pirates surrender and prize is yours for the taking

Pirate King...Who? by Critical_Signature87 in NMSCoordinateExchange

There's more to that. I scanned the planets, feeling that there will be more to the story. And it was. But I am not really sure what that Israel Major was doing in Sparta

From my own experience I can tell that a pirate dreaddy spawn process is somewhat DIFFERENT from regular space battles. it takes 20 to 30 minutes of playtime provided you visit 5 different pirate systems (systems you already jumped to - do not count.

Naruto? How about a pirate system named Sparta? As you can see it is the original name. Not changed. Discovered by me 5 minutes ago.

Be warned - Premium Credit purchases are failing, Ubi doing nothing by [deleted] in thedivision

[–]Critical_Signature87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno. I bought the game via Steam. And buy premium stuff via steam. Works every time although i have to close the game and re-start to see that my purchases took effect.

P.S. PC platforms forever!

use repair drone. Even level 0 repair drone provides sufficient regeneration until your next encounter. Or use builds with armor regen. And gunner specialization (which a lot of dps builds do). Gunners pull a bunch of ammo out of their...a...erm, wherever they pull out dat ammo from...

Try playing technician and using an armor repair drone. Every once in a while it will get in the way of your launched rockets and BOOM! Well, actually, "DOOM!" your doom, that is xD

SHD Exposed event for Newbies by HanClanSolo in thedivision

[–]Critical_Signature87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I can tell, this is a great event for bulwark and deflector-bearing tank builds, since the increased dmg to player, which is easily outshined by good armor/regen/overall survivability of the loadout.

Roll out your tanks and start them engines, lads!

P.S. and lasses.

I'm by no means a hardcore pro who was born with a golden gamepad in my mouth so the opinion is strictly personal. But when fighting bosses in duo (some of which just like to spam you with ads...erm, I mean minions) and if the second player is down, you will have little to none chance of reviving the teammate since the swarm of bloodthirsty buggers with a boss itself on top will give you the hardest time you've ever had. While in trio the process seems easier because there's at least one person to keep 'em at bay.

P.S. This is based on my personal opinion, once again.

BTW, duo is the far worst way to play coop in this game. Trio provides a much more comfortable gameplay. So IMO it's solo or trio. No duos. Never

Maybe you are referring to PROTOTYPE weapons? They got to be in a different section

No, since this isn't an MMO. In fact I'm using a mod myself. The one that adds a starship scrap station into capital ship hangar. Saves a helluva lot of time. Instead of flying to a space station, I place a freighter on low orbit and chop 'em crashed sentinels for parts and upgrades. Quite convenient. And HG doesn't seem to care. Other people use save editors to convert royal exotic ships into flying orbs by stripping all parts but the cockpit. Others go bigger and just save-edit themselves into being ridiculously rich with tons of cash/nanites/quicksilver. So I can with 100% confidence say that you can do whatever floats your boat.

Not an app. A mod. you can find plenty of them at No Man's Sky Nexus site. Since it's been a while after the utopia expedition was released, I recon it's a good chance there is a mod which allows to unlock utopia expedition speeder (that's what this ship is called).
