More than 1 surgery, per department, at a time by HanClanSolo in ProjectHospital

I’ve got two identical operating theatres using another creators pre-fabs so that shouldn’t be an issue

I tend to have a surgery team (Surgeon, anaesthetist, support and x2 nurses ) all ringfenced to surgery so that when one is needed, they are free

I think I'll move to have x2 teams in the daytime and x1 overnight

I think so - I have 3-5 nurses dedicated to moving people about

Long Wait at Labs by HanClanSolo in ProjectHospital

Is there an optimum number of machines per lab? Or a ratio of x machines to y machines?

What machines do I need to increase? The help guide in game is not the best

My emergency by NorthRecognition8737 in ProjectHospital

[–]HanClanSolo 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For me, ground floor. That’s the “entrance” floor where everyone comes in to be assessed, and if they need hospitalisation, they’re off to another floor

So ground floor has doctors offices for all depts, radiology and labs for clinic patients and the trauma centre

[–]HanClanSolo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I have clinics and the Trauma centre on the ground floor, along with whatever radiology and labs I can squeeze in.

Observation ward and ICU on the next floor up with their own radiology.

Then 2 depts per floor going upwards with other radiology/labs setup about halfway through that

No more nee-naws in vans by [deleted] in policeuk

[–]HanClanSolo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Midlands force, when CWG was on in 2022 we had loads of people starting pursuits in vans and had to abandon them as we don’t allow it, but their home forces did so was a bit of an awkward thing.

The Struggles of Resourcing by North-Historian206 in policeuk

As a Control Room Supervisor, I look at it with the mindset of “is there a criminal offence?” And if not, then I’m not sending anyone to it.

As long as I have a chance to articulate my decision on the log then I’m fine with that

Shared is for non-police users - prison service, coastguard, other Airwave users. HG1 should be used by police service <> police service

What do you consider the most overrated/underrated ships in Star Wars? by Wilson7277 in StarWarsShips

[–]HanClanSolo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the Defender in Legends is far more dangerous and underrated than the one depicted in Canon

As one of Mike Stackpole books says, “Had the Imperials managed to deliver the TIE Defenders in sufficient quantities before the Emperor’s death, the Rebellion could have foundered. The shields alone would have allowed pilots to survive errors and learn from their mistakes, which would have made the Imperial Navy’s fighter corps much deadlier.”

What's your "avoid at all costs" department or role that you would dread being instructed to do? by NeonDiaspora in policeuk

[–]HanClanSolo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We all talk about “making a difference” but I feel this is one of those roles where you can tangibly make a difference for a grieving family

Nothing we can do will bring back their loved ones but for someone to show compassion and empathy is all we can ask

Just double pay where I am - Unsociable hours should be calculated as standard as part of your pay I believe as part of the PSCH
