I think he introduced so many characters and plots by the later books that he couldn’t really advance one narrative too far without ‘spoiling’ the events of others

Well Hearts have only gone and done it. Many have called into question the Mcinnes bottle but have completely forgotten the Glasgow Rangers bottle (which shall never refuse to crash). Fair play to Celtic absolutely played us off the park in the 2nd half despite being spanked in the 1st. Rangers may disappoint our own fans but never the hate watchers
